Their inability to read sarcasm or any kind of subtext combined with their glaringly obvious insecurities that they cannot help but vomit up all over a forum thread about k-pop idols lead me to be way too patient with them because it's clear that they have some personal battles with certain conditions. Somebody on that list reached out to me and said it actually bothered them. After they had a middle school meltdown and threatened the leave the website over not being allowed to call others koreaboos I gave them plenty of space and didn't react to or acknowledge any of their attempts at attention-seeking but they're still being rude af completely unprovoked.

 

 

 

The pretending to be dumb style trolling they did when they first joined was way funnier than whatever this is now. @Pluto2022 you should have actually taken the hiatus seriously and gone out and made friends in real life, you'd be a happier person.

Okay but that doesn't solve the problem of a user being repeatedly emboldened by the lack of action against their flagrant trolling and regular unprovoked personal attacks. Shifting who they target or are allowed to do it with doesn't fix anything, but I will put them back on ignore like you asked. 

 

That user lives their entire life in this thread specifically so the issue won't just go away.

Most of us here are adults with careers/jobs/lives who want to discuss K-pop and throw light shade at flop acts (like my fave EXO who fails to outsell NCT) as a fun little outlet when we have time. It's nothing serious. The fact this literal child constantly spams in this thread and is always off topic/ having meltdowns as if anything is personal and it goes unmoderated is annoyed. Not dragging the mods but enough is enough. It's getting to the point where we need to start checking for IDs at the door.

 

Btw in the time it took me to write this post, my fave EXO still haven't managed to outsell 3 year old NCT albums.

and even when it's not a rant about how they personally hate or are being bullied by somebody in here they'll drag any and every group including their favs just to keep arguments going to steer the thread off topic. It's so tired. Some of us actually just like kpop and are here for that and don't want to use this thread as a surrogate for the attention we're missing in our daily lives.
