I'm impressed. Both song and video are shockingly good minus the departures of Any, Noah and Josh. I've got confidence in the new era!

I'm so obsessed with the song. It's so good. I hate how they release their music first on YouTube, without it being available on other streaming services for a few days. 

 

While Any being gone in some ways may have damaged the group, I think it gives them opportunities for better distribution of member lines in the songs.

All three officially announced solos (unlike Diarra, Krystian and Joalin).

 

The only part I found silly was feeling the need to make it so "this or that." Why can't they do both? They're electing to replace with new American and Brazilian members.

I've never understood Simon Fuller's strategy for them. He doesn't promote them with playlisting anywhere. They've had a few songs tailor-made for events like the Olympics/World Cup (ex: Wave Your Flag) or TikTok (ex: Clockwork) but no promo. Also, while I appreciate the Brazilian support, it's frustrating for non-Portuguese-speaking fans to feel any accessibility. Their tours are only in Brazil and Portugal and if you visit any of their work, the fans are all chatting in Portuguese. You'd think with such a uniquely diverse concept, they'd have more notoriety by now.

 

As for the song, I am floored. More than I could have asked for in the new era. I didn't think about it but all vocals went to the non-OG members and they nailed it.
