Yes, I am and I think you’re the dumb one. This law is bs, it allows the company to manage credits instead of refunds, but it doesn't prohibit the refunds. All it takes for the fans to get refunds is for the artists to stand up against the company. Harry and Billie (who I bought tickets for) also cancelled shows managed by T4F in Brazil because of the pandemic but they fought to get their fans the refunds of the tickets, personally demanded that would happen and they were able to get that done :chick1:

No they were not you liar :ahh:

I had tickets for the HS show and nothing has been refunded.

******* LIAR :ahh:

Why are people saying that dynamic pricing wasn't on when there's multiple videos on twitter that prove otherwise? What about the code? People weren't required to enter it.

She was so quick to write a letter to apple when she was losing money, or even took 2h to reply to Netflix for mentioning her name on one of those series. Yet she didn't call out Ticketmaster despite all the pressure she's getting. She clearly has been shaking hands multiple times with all those white powerful men behind Ticketmaster for two days straight before posting that statement. She is, in fact, another white privileged business man and some of you can't see it.

Where are these videos on twitter? I saw thousands of screenshots on twitter and they all looked to have consistent pricing.

Harry’s fans HAVE been refunded, I don’t know why you’re lying. That’s so insane.

But yeah, Billie personally demanded we would get refunds for her shows and we all received them during january/february of 2021 :heart2:

You can tell she/her team REALLY love numbers and bragging on them. Even in this type of statement they can’t help themselves but to flex by mentioning an actual number of tickets sold. Shameless

I mean… you do understand the numbers an important part of this discussion right. No doubt Taylor likes to flex her success, but in this case it’s literally an indication of the unprecedented number of people who tried to get tickets versus the astronomical number of tickets sold in just a few hours between a couple of days.

How many artists sell nearly 3M tickets from just 52 shows? Not very many I can tell you that. It’s a direct correlation to the demand versus the supply.

Care to explain why you say she doesn't care? Because she just wrote a public statement she's not obligated to post, let alone write. She could've just say "**** you" and completely ignore the situation, yet she's out there exposing herself to people like you, who will bash her at the minimum opportunity and for what? What do you gain?

She had to make a statement.  There would be no way she could consciously continue promoting the album/single/tour without addressing the elephant in the room first.

All I wish is that she would be a little more aggressive going after Ticketmaster, because I believe EVERYONE in saying this is pretty much solely Ticketmaster’s fault and Taylor didn’t have much to do with it at all.  And I clarified later that I’m sure it’s legal issues preventing her from wording the statement much differently.  I just think a few things could have been slightly altered and it would make the statement seem more heartfelt, that’s all.

Even she knows her fans deserve the scam, hoping they will be there next time for another improved experience. :clap3:

Also I don’t know if you’re actually being fr about not getting refunded or just playing dumb (I hope it’s the latter cause otherwise you’re just dumb and never got your money back when you had the option) but Harry’s refunds became available on August of 2021 by his request:

I know this statement basically resolved nothing, but I actually really like and appreciate that she posted it.

I am sure she is hands tied behind contracts about what she can say, but this comes across as very genuine and it’s clear she feels for her fans.

The fact that someone that hates Taylor even knows details like that is so unhinged, imaging knowing small details about fan experiences for artists you don't even care about or follow :rip: some of these people really need to stop living online

Yeah SHE'S the one making this dramatic :rip:

how about you take your own advice? all you do is sit on this website and attack anyone that says anything you don’t like….but then have the audacity to tell ppl to stop living online? the irony is real, get over yourself.

OT: whatever, just hope Ticketmaster gets restrictions and whatever is needed to stop ticket scalping eventually across the board.

This statement is just not enough,  she has the agency to at least relieve the situation and this is basically just her washing her hands and ignoring it.

Ok. Re-write it then.

Seems you can’t help it as well.

All I was saying is that nothing about the statement changes with or without the exact figure. However, adding the exact number serves no other purpose but to flex. The indication was already made in the preceding sentence where she asked would Ticketmaster be able to handle the impending demand.

It’s not an attack on her, just a simple observation.

Just read three pages of this thread to remind myself of how pathetic atrlers are

There is a whole PR team behind it, of course it came out genuine :deadbanana4:

There is, quite literally, nothing she can do.

She’s a stadium act. She has the demand to play hundreds of stadium dates, but that type of physical, mental, and emotional stamina is impossible to ask of her and the hundreds of people in her crew, band, dancers, singers, etc.

Ticketmaster/LiveNation literally own most stadiums in the US.

She can’t rectify this situation. Only Ticketmaster can.

I mean.. Taylor Swift is a business. This is the same as any business reporting their quarterly sales or their monthly subscription growth. We are aware she is a business. Her posting the numerical evidence of that isn’t anything new. I understand you aren’t attacking her but you’re kind of just stating the obvious.. we know she’s flexing. It’s what businesses do.

I mean saying "Taylor really doesn't care" isn't a drag, most of ATRL's faves in the same position wouldn't care either, as long as the $$$ is rolling in

Good statement. This has calmed down most of the mad Mackenzies and Kayleighs on twitter and i liked that she went as far as saying they lied about being able to handle this.

who cares if the known OTHs [even a mod :rip: ] in here who hate her are not satisfied :deadbanana:

So what was your point in quoting my first post?

I read her statement, posted my takeaway, which you felt was obvious and now we’re here…

She said a whole lot of nothing but this is legit out of her control. She shouldn't have said a thing though tbh lol, this is literally the nature of supply and demand with the current landscape.

TL;DR She might sue.
