JK Rowling is not correct, and she never has been. Trans women do not take away the rights of cis gender women. They never have and they never will. Someone affirming their gender either through surgery or other means makes them that gender, and there's nothing that any transphobe can say to change that. Trans women are women. Trans men are men.
