Release Hours of Fun

A discography filled with some of my all time favourite tracks. Motordrome didn’t hit me quite as hard as her previous releases (sadly) but as a longtime fan, Brad Pitt is one of her best songs for me. 
 

Will be interesting to see what True Romance is leading into (if anything at all). Maybe Motordrome Deluxe/Side B, or an EP of outtakes? That’s what the artwork is giving at least.

Same I thought Motordrome felt a little over produced compared to her previous work. It didn’t hit the same for me. The New Moon demo that leaked sounds much much better than the released one.

 

She’s hinted at a B-Sides/Prequel album to Motordrome and most likely Goodbye she will release. I hope we get Daydreams to. All the songs she’s done with Ronnie Vindahl sound amazing.

Also, she will be on What So Not's new album that's coming September 16. 

 

For me, Motordrome was a much-needed return to form; it’s closer to the excellence of WIWY and NMTF.

 

I pretty much can’t listen to FN anymore, mostly because I didn’t love it much in the first place.

I keep coming back to Wheelspin, Goosebumps, Hip Bones and especially Youth is Lost. Motordrome is a testament to her maturity as an artist, I love it

I definitely get that FN is an album "anyone" could make, but it does have one of her best songs (Purple Like the Summer Rain) so   Blur & Nostalgia are kinda MØ classics as well; they're still on the setlist to this day.

I swear I’m not just saying this to disagree, but Blur and Nostalgia are probably my two least-fav MØ songs ever  I enjoy the album a lot more when I skip over those ones, but I totally respect that they are fan favs!

 

I love Purple Like The Summer Rain as well - I pretty much like or love every other song on the album minus the two above, but for some reason, I was just never obsessed with FN like I normally am with her projects

Wow, I honestly didn’t even know about the first two, had no idea she co-wrote them.

Ah ok! Love how prolific she’s been since Motordrome dropped tbh. Makes up for the gap/wait between projects we experienced after Lean On blew up and her label had unrealistic commercial expectations for her.
