Lead Single: 

Put It Down

The feature helped her…though, the song definitely suffered from the delayed video, so let’s just say it came out shortly after the song’s release instead of months after and she did some good promo before the album’s release 

 

Second Single:

Do You Know What You Have?

Wildest Dreams is a great song, but not really single material. DYKWYH is a fan favorite from the album and the Mike Will production would’ve probably helped the song chart (possibly top 40)

 

Third Single:

Slower

I mean, this is undeniably one of her best songs this past decade and definitely top 5 (top 3 imo) on the album. This sex bop would’ve been a nice callback to Afrodisiac era Brandy after the tame Human era (another great Brandy album)

 

Fourth Single (let’s just pretend we would get a 4th single):

Wish Your Love Away

The best song on Two Eleven. Quite possibly her best song this past decade. The public needs to hear this song. A perfect last single to an era of (possible moderate) hits.

Videos unavailable so I can't see it choices, just read the descriptions alone... What are your choices for 3rd and 4th singles? From what I read, I think you picked Slower for no.3

 

I agree that DYKWYH should have been the 2nd single. (I love Wildest Dreams though, but it's probably not strong enough)

 

My choices:

 

1st: Put It Down

 

2nd: DYKWYH

 

3rd: No such thing as too late (I think she needs smth more Urban AC for 3rd single, her fanbase is mostly 28+ when Two Eleven was released anyway. The first 2 singles try to capture younger crowd, and this is for the older crowd. Without U fit Urban AC but history shows that it would be a bomb)

 

4th: Paint this House (remix w a rap feature) ... The song reminds me of Melanie Fiona's 4am (both produced by Rico Love), which reached top 10 R&B in 2011. I think if released as a remix w a rapper, this could have realistically reached top 30 R&B - which is respectable for a 4th single

All in all, Brandy kinda lost her career momentum.. so I don't think changing singles will change much of her trajectory. But Two Eleven could definitely have sold better !
