I had pretty low expectations because HIIAPL is an all-time top 20 album for me and I knew she wouldn't top it, plus I didn't love TWIA....

But she snapped a bit, huh? :clap3: Shatter is THAT song! Also love the diversity of sound and how she varies her vocal performance across the album. Pleasantly surprised after first listen and excited to listen more and process the lyrics better :swim2:

I like it, but I'm a little underwhelmed. Won't be spinning this as much as I did HIIAPL :katie: I agree with what was said a few pages ago that it's a solid album all the way to Track 8 tho

Is this Symphony slander? Delete it.

This album is a masterpiece :jonny6: I knew she couldn’t disappoint

I only just had time due to Bey taking up my time but this album deserves all its flowers and time to shine too. Love her so much, an immense talent with a beautiful voice

The way there’s not a single bad song called Honey :jonny6: I’m almost crying

album of my year

Someone tell this girl she doesn’t have to belt on every damn song, Jesus.

The production is a bit more interesting on this than her debut, but that’s about it. Nothing much going on here.

I really like That’s Where I Am though.

TWIA really grew on me actually, hope it does for you too!

She doesn't really "belt" on each song tho

I was thinking the same thing lol

Horses and Shatter are pretty shout-y, Anywhere With You towards the end I guess. But that’s about it imo?

We clearly aren’t listening to the same album. She is yelling on every song except the closer. And dont get me wrong, her voice is stunning but it becomes grating. I like powerful vocals but she sounds even better when its more intimate and calm imo

What a major step down from her previous work. Keeping like, 3 songs and trashing the rest.

Belting and yelling are two very different things. And yes she does belt on a lot of the songs, but its not throughout the whole song so I'm fine with that personally

Someone tell ha

:rip: If you think she is yelling for 11 tracks straight then I think her natural singing voice is simply not pleasing to your ears… which is totally fine!!! But she is objectively not yelling/belting/screaming on a majority of these songs lol

Anyway Symphony is such an interesting song. We love to hear it!

The singles are the standouts

Loving this! It's much more consistent than her debut imo. :clap3:

The only tracks I dislike or don't care for are I've Got A Friend and the closer :michael:

This album is really boring compared to her earlier work, even the archived recordings. TWIA is still that song though. Want Want’s chorus lyrics really brings it down a lot.

Anywhere With You is SOTY material
