Hmm. Forget midterms, I think I’ll come back when someone can meaningfully answer the question: What has Bernie actually DONE for you (that isn’t a Republican VA bill)?
Β

Since we all know the answer is NOTHING, that should be enough to keep me out of this sullen, nonfactual thread.Β :gaycat3:

I don’t have any student loans so if forgiving them will raise inflation or my taxes I don’t want them forgiven. They willingly signed those loans, they have to be responsible and pay them back. I’m sorry I just don’t have any sympathy for them.Β

Not everyone can pay their loans back. Some lenders have exploited higher education to make a profit by giving loans to 18 year old kids that should of never been given a loan to begin with. Some people are unable to even finish their degree and are still required to pay their loans, even when they are only making below minimum wage at their jobs.Β
Not all loans should be forgiven, but a large amount of them should.Β

Biden mainly just wants the excuse to not do anything for young people. He said it himself: He hates us, thinks we're worthless and doesn't have any remorse for the ruined world that he and his generation (in addition to the Boomers) have left behind for us to have to live with long after he's dead and gone.

Β

My guess is that he's happy that he has inflation to hide behind, because as the architect of the student debt crisis from the very beginning, he never had any desire nor intention of providing relief at all.

This is really gonna test GA status as a potential swing.

EXACTLY, which is why FROM DAY ONE, I didn't even consider voting for him. Why should young people vote for the enemy? Especially when the enemy, like you said, "hates us".Β
