    Reviving this thread because I finally decided to dive into M.I.A.'s discography (after only being familiar with Bad Girls & Paper Planes) and whew... the material from her first two albums alone :jonny3: Bangers front to back

     

     

    It's actually insane that these were released between 2005-2007 because they still sound so current. She was ridiculously ahead of her time. And you can clearly discern her influence on newer artists like Rosalía, FKA twigs, Grimes... which is surprising, because she doesn't get nearly enough credit for that imo

    Not gonna get into her unhinged social media presence. That's obviously a shame for a talent this big
