Was she there recording, or doing some other preparation work for her new era? Perhaps we are finally getting the Charli XCX collab? She was more active on instagram last month than she has been for a long time. Letemtalk Posted July 8, 2023 Author Posted July 8, 2023 It appears that @lorde is on threads now, most likely-no-posts will ever appear no threads so far. Her mother @sonjayelich is there too. I'm not sure when the web interface is going to become accessible for desktop browsers. Or does everyone going to have to use mobile only and/or get the app? Perhaps there is a user agent switcher plugin that can make the browser appear to be mobile, so we can use on desktop. Edit: just needed to switch to a newer browser and in firefox I just needed to open a private window to view them.

There doesn't seem to be a consensus about how long it takes for vinyl album production these days, but assuming it's not quite the 6 months it took during the pandemic: 4 months -> Merry Christmas, here's your new Lorde album. 5 months -> Happy New year I'm not really expecting her to release a Christmas album. Of course we could get a single before then. At best, she might sing a snippet when she is doing her festivals. She gave as a preview of some Melodrama songs at Coachella before the Melodrama album came out, but I'm not sure if she wants to do that at these smaller festivals.
Letemtalk Posted July 15, 2023 Author Posted July 15, 2023 @Timeless I've seen people claiming that they've seen Lorde in London in the last 1-2 weeks (someone mentioned the Northern Line). If that was true it might mean she was finishing some production there. People have speculated about her working with a British artist, as well as the ones already posted on this page, she is also a fan of Little Simz and posted something on instagram comments about loving No Thank You. In any case, if she has been working with producers like Dev Hynes for almost two years, she might be getting close to a single release. September or October would make sense, but of course other people are going to be guessing this, it doesn't mean anyone has any inside info. I'm expecting a bunch of "insiders" to make an appearance soon, but maybe only one or two will know anything and not until we are much closer to a release. 1

A lot of people are saying new music is coming in the fall but this seems way too early for her standards. I know she’s been in the studio a lot recently but still all the fans saying “L4 in December!!!1!” seem delusional
