There truly isn't a middle way in here, or the excitment to the highest over nothing or the metldown with consequent lashings over nothing serious, to me it's just tiring. Unless majority of people in here are a last minute stan, after years, people should know how things are working with her by now, but instead we're always back at the start. 2 minutes ago, Tovitov said: This fanbase is litterally grievances and meltdowns. It's fine to express your disapointment and frustration, but don't act like you don't do it on a weekly basis at this point. Almost daily with the constant countdowns based off nothing. it's a pop music forum and a thread about her, what are we supposed to discuss if that's all there is? the exaggeration and the countdowns are also a fun way to keep the thread alive, there's rarely something serious about it. I'm sure when we shut off our computers or cellphones our lives go about as normal as any other member of society and we do not threaten to throw ourselves off a cliff because gaga does not excite us the way she did. 4 2

Sannie Posted February 29 Posted February 29 1 hour ago, Album Leak said: Where is the '' creativity, passion and integrity '' in her makeup line? Give me a break. As someone who works in manufacturing, taking a product from concept to store shelves does really take a lot of creativity, passion, and integrity. Products do not make themselves and it takes a long time to get things where she has them now. I understand why people do not "get it", but it is easy to get why she seems so passionate if she is in fact as involved as she claims. --------- I am not a charts girl, but it is so easy to go #1 nowadays for the girls who have fanbases. She should not take much longer to release... 1 hour ago, Bamboo said: Again, I don't think anyone would care about that quote if she had been putting out music and showing passion for that part of her career. But the last 4 years of her career have essentially just been Gucci, ads, and Haus Labs. There has been the growing tension within the fanbase that she has put her business ventures over her music, and last night she basically said the quiet part out loud I think it's okay to acknowledge that she was speaking to a specific audience last night and tailoring her messaging to them. BUT it's also okay to be annoyed that that messaging was basically implying she sees identifies more with the business side of things now, which has been sort of a growing concern. Just see the backlash from Nurtec-gate and the subsequent shelving of the CBT film after she promised it was coming soon. But I honestly do not feel it is a huge deal This is so true lol. This is why Beyonce can put out a shoddy hair care line and her fans do not mind because she is still putting out music. I do sometimes struggle to understand why Gaga does not know how to multi task. 1 1

Dad Posted February 29 Posted February 29 She is obviously not making enough money with releasing music. Lets be real, she is no longer on top like she used to be, there is no money to be made in music anymore unless you are someone like taylor. Touring is probably the biggest cash cow but that takes a lot of effort and time. Ofcourse she is going to branch out to get that money from other ventures, as much as it all pains you she obviously prioritizes making money more than music/performing, which is fine, she is not the same person she was a decade ago

suburbannature Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Marry the Night remains her best song. also why is everyone melting down about her capitalism comment? just because she cosplayed a starving artist in 2013? At least she's honest about making money unlike certain other girlies

Okay. 29 minutes ago, hypocrateen said: the exaggeration and the countdowns are also a fun way to keep the thread alive, there's rarely something serious about it. Sure until the fun end up like these days with people attacking and trashing her, how about applies the 'it's not that serious argument' to everything related to her and not just for the things that are convenient for your narratives. 30 minutes ago, hypocrateen said: I'm sure when we shut off our computers or cellphones our lives go about as normal as any other member of society and we do not threaten to throw ourselves off a cliff because gaga does not excite us the way she did. I would hope so that life of people in here is not depending by this woman music career, why are we saying banal stuff that nobody questioned? And yet by the tones of certain comments you would think the contrary.
QueenB Posted March 1 Posted March 1 what are the odds of her adding 'Out of Control' on the new album 1
suburbannature Posted March 1 Posted March 1 also, did she say she was for sure not doing a rock album? tbh she would have eaten up an arena rock-esque album even PI was a grower
