Aston Martin Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Excited to see how high the Halloween boost pushes Bloody Mary, Poker Face, Bad Romance, and Just Dance this year. Also I've noticed that Poker Face and Shallow swap placements for her daily most streamed Spotify song more often that usual. I wonder if it'll eventually end up with Poker Face consistently outstreaming it or not. Poker Face's year-over-year growth rate (2022-2023) in streams is higher than Shallow's, but the latter still does more in terms of absolute streams. Shallow does have the advantage of being a ballad (they seem to get better recurrents than dance-pop songs) and I suspect if any of her discography gets a boost from J:FaD, it'll be ASIB (people watching her current music-movie going to revisit her last one). But if Poker Face and Shallow's YoY growth rates holds steady, I think Poker Face could consistently outstream it in raw numbers as well. We shall see. 1
