Aden Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Idk if she truly felt "forced" to release Chromatica. Like, why would she go through the trouble of planning a huge roll-out if there wasn't some passion for the project? She's clearly not success driven so she wasn't putting all that effort just to score more hits. And she arguably had to put some level of effort for the the work to result in her best album since Born This Way, especially when it came to the lyrical content. I think something happened behind the scenes that made her lose interest in promoting Chromatica that we'll never truly know about, and we'll have to be at peace with that.
chosensparkles Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 I have the pleasure to announce you Chromatica left the only chart it was still charting on Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Album Chart The Fame and BTW are still top 10 1

Gaga could easily deliver soothing and soft vocals if she wants and honestly I think it's time for her to go in that direction for a change, she proved to be a vocalist.

She had tried to relaunch the era twice but failed, plus she even helped putting up a fundraising concert in the midway, I believe she just thought it was the best for her mental health to give in.

I also feel she felt uncomfortable being out there promoting her album in those times same way they relaunched with 911 and Billboard cover and then the following week, they were MIA at least her team could have been competent enough to: 1) send 911 to radio 2) playlist the song 3) release a version that both had the Chromatica II + 911 into one song 4) tag the video as 911 1

The fact that The Remix lasted longer than ARTPOP on that chart is funny.

Sombre Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Gaga wasn't running to every interview to talk about Chromatica because... it was released at the peak of a global pandemic that killed millions of people. Chromatica era is disadvantaged by the mere fact that it was launched at the height of COVID-19; we all saw the leaked pre-pandemic schedule, and that thing was PACKED. You can tell she loves the album, the fact that she still toured it 2 years after release when she's unfortunately used to cancelling is a testament to that. 1 1
Infinite Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 if ARTPOP had been a good album: 1.-Venus 2.-G.U.Y 3.-Sexxx Dreams 4.-Do What U Want (solo) 5.-ARTPOP 6.-Donatella 7.-Fashion! 8.-Gypsy 9.-Applause If Joanne had been a good album: 1.-Diamond Heart 2.-Joanne (Piano Version) 3.-Dancin in circles 4.-Million reasons the rest in the trash can 1 1

Si Hoo Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 (edited) The final mission of street dancer survival program in Korea is about making choreography on 4 pop diva songs. (LG, Ari, Beyonce, Rihanna) Each crew have to pick one diva and waacking crew picked our queen which is obvious. I'm curious about the song they will pick. Edited October 24, 2023 by Si Hoo 1
