Do yall think her absence from social media and engagement with fans was part of a plan and a bigger picture? I mean she can now come out in a suit and pants and talk about powder brushes and Liddos go nuts

I've always seen it as a recalibration to the mystique she had at the very beginning of her career. It's probably also intentional because her relationship with her fans, no matter how endearing, was bad for her.

My hope is that she's finally in a place where she can do what she wants without fan interference, label interference, etc. She's always talked ill about social media (calling it a toilet bowl on Jimmy Fallon after her Oscar win) so she probably justifiably hates it now.

I don't know, but personally I prefer this way than those popstars-celebrities that are continuosly on social media sharing pointless stuff that majority of time end up to be problematic or an obnoxious flaunt of their status, in this way when she appears it feels like more an event indeed.

The only reason I follow this account is to cackle at their delusion.

I think it's actually their shtick at this point. They know no one takes them seriously.

Wow

Well it's Twitter so I guess it's inevitable that some will fall. :deadbanana:

The thing is that the same people get mad at Gaga when things never happen. It's problematic tbh.

I've watched A Star Is Born several times to the point of losing the count; however, I've only watched House Of Gucci once :skull: Not very proud of this stats since I'm a big fan of her but that's the true.

I saw ASIB again and again whereas I only watched HOG twice (both in theaters) lol so I haven’t revisited it since 2021.

Chromatica definitely had the best push of any Gaga album in the streaming era, but the difference between it and the push Future Nostalgia got for example is that unlike Interscope, Warner didn't give up at the first signs of underperformance, to the point that it felt like they were shoving Dua down people's throats all of 2020-2021 and to this day whenever she releases something. On the flip end, Interscope is notorious for pulling the plug on songs if they debut with low or mid radio callouts for example. :deadbanana: Future Nostalgia was doing better and so deserved the harder push of course, but my point is Interscope definitely could persisted with the back end promo instead of just dropping it once a song started stalling or dropping slightly. :michael:

That’s what I’m saying.  Gaga is a very… financially secure investment.  She self-funds a lot of her own work, she doesn’t need to rent a studio, her friends are also her producers and co-writers, she always has at least one major hit with each album, a successful album rollout, and very profitable tours.  She’s also just extremely famous, like it makes zero sense to say Dua Lipa (who I love) is a notably better financial investment than Lady Gaga at this point.

A big part of this is also that Dua is the only big female pop act on Warner's roster. Her former manager did an interview a while back stating that a big part of the reason she signed with them in the first place was because they didn't have a big female pop act and they needed one and pitched to her that they were willing to invest in her and put their focus into making her their flagship female act on their label.

Interscope has Gaga, Billie, Olivia, Selena, and Lana, so the push they receive is more divided and the newer artists are inevitably going to get a bigger push than the veterans.

Would you choose Act 2 or LG7 to be released this Q4? :gaycat2: Tbh, I would say Act 2 so that we can close that chapter for good and hopefully ARTPOP era will end in a good note.

Girl that chapter has BEEN closed for like almost a decade now :rip:

My speculated schedule of gagas next projects. Basically just trying to guess

- September: TonyGaga Documentary (confirmed)

- November: ARTPOP re-issue. Maybe including new remixes or demos or just Brooklyn Nights. Maybe some cute outtakes of the shoot

- December: Chromatica Ball film

- Q1 2024: secret project

- Q3 2024 to Q1 202T oker film, Joker promo, Joker OST

- Late Q2 up to very early Q4: LG7 release

With the secret project being music related. If the secret project is LG7 then change LG8 for 2026 lol
