Even though I personally hope the tickets aren't too expensive for my bank account's sake, the stan in me hopes they are a bit pricier than the last set of shows because, assuming these really are the last set of Enigma/J&P shows, this residency may not reach $100M otherwise. :'(

Current Gross: $79.9M

Average Gross Per Date (Post-COVID Shows): $1.446M

Final Gross Using Post-COVID Average: $97.3M

It would be yet another of her concerts that just barely missed it if this happens. :deadbanana2:

inflation better kick in for this :deadbanana2:

I would love for Gaga to release footage for a filmed date of Jazz & Piano

The deal to bring Gaga back this year reportedly happened over the past month. As recently as June, it seemed unlikely she would be back until ’24.

The status of Gaga’s pop show, “Enigma,” is far less certain. She might still star in a pop show in ’24, but not necessarily “Enigma.” She toured “The Chromatica Ball” from September through July. The two shows have been presented as a single, two-pronged residency, though Gaga has not performed “Enigma” since December 2019, not returning after the pandemic shutdown.

I hope she can break $100 million because only 8 residencies have ever done it and she would be the 4th woman to surpass that milestone after Celine, Britney, and J-Lo.

It's crazy how her average gross per show is like 150% higher than those 8 residencies, too. :deadbanana:

i mean the fact that it's jazz kinda makes it worse

Ehh, does it though?

Yeah it's not the best timing and we have her shitty socmed to blame for that but the GP doesn't really spend too much time thinking about optics like that. She enjoys a lot of their adulation for treating elder celebs with the utmost grace and dignity that they deserve.

I hope she renew the contract since i want to go with my mom before she dword :monkey:

i actually don't think it's a problem at all, i was just playing devil's advocate. I can see why the optics of promoting a jazz show right after posting about Tony's death could be bad

Doesn't she have like 22 dates remaining in her contract? If they all gross at least $1M she would end up with a $101.9M gross :giraffe:

I was just saying in case these are indeed the last dates since someone mentioned maybe MGM and Gaga reached an agreement to shave off 10 dates from the contract because of the large gap COVID caused.

That of course is totally speculation but not all that far fetched when you consider the rumors of a totally new show (with presumably a new contract) towards the end of the year. Perhaps they could squeeze in 10 last shows between this new set and the end of the year, but that would basically mean she'd go right from the current residency into the next one, which I don't exactly see happening personally.

This b right here is about to spend some coin on JazzGa again.

Oh $90 isn't that bad, and if I recall correctly from when I saw Enigma in 2019 the venue is relatively small so even the cheapest tickets shouldn't be all that bad (I hope).

You get good views from pretty much every location. I've been to two Jazz shows, and one of the two we just got some of the cheaper options and it was fine. Hope you can go!

If someone accesses to the pre sales tomorrow, please tell us the prices

Hmmm maybe the last 10 dates can happen early next year? I don't think she'll have much going on at that time :chick2:

Enigma show got eradicated with the COVID vaccine since they shared similar DNA. call it a pre-pandemic.

I'd love that too, it's such a fun and polished show but she sounded strained in most shows especially 2019-20 so idk. The 2022 leg right before TCB was solid though and her vocals were great and well-rested.

We might see some of it in the documentary from the show that Tony attended and performed, if they choose to include that. It was the first J&P show I think.
