The Witch Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Heard a rumor Ga Ga is collabing with Morgan Wallen. How f*cked if true

Unhinged comment ATRL is truly an alternative universe. There is certainly someone who needs to touch grass here but it doesn’t have anything to do with our music opinions… I mean I hate both extremes that Chromatica was either this huge success (not true) and her best album (not true; though it's subjective) OR that it was her biggest flop (not true) and her WORST album (not true again but still subjective, I accept the "it's my least fav album of her")
chosensparkles Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Chromatica was middle of the road album, commercially it was underwhelming after the first weeks peak and it had no legs... it barely outdid Joanne in UK weeks and that's the type of album they consume way more, in US it failed to outperform it, on Spotify it fell short too... 2.3B after 3 years and down to 700k daily is nothing amazing for the way it was aimed for streaming (shorter songs & streaming faved artists like Ariana and BLACKPINK) critically it just benefited from poptimism when you truly needed a bad album to get bad reviews so using its MC score vs TF/TFM/BTW/ARTPOP/Joanne is funny to me... the tour was indeed successful, and the initial peaks were great... but it was all smoke and mirrors... 2 3

I was referring to the person who said people who think Chromatica is her worst album don’t have social lives like what

DonnieDarko Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 (edited) Everyone has a right to call whatever album of hers their most favourite. For me it’s clearly Chromatica (with pretty large margin) for various reasons but I do appreciate and respect everyone else’s opinion on this. As long as we stay objective and not talk to each other like a bunch of neanderthals, it’s all good. No one should advise other people to touch grass (or whatever) just because their opinions on harmless topics are different. Edited July 15, 2023 by DonnieDarko 1

LykkeLi Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Her team is free to release the Chromatica Ball Film and Gaga can even promote it on her Instagram without being insensitive. Hopefully the deal has a locked date (which i don’t know btw) and they won’t back track from it. 3 1

SAG is actually encouraging and pushing their members to continue to work if the project doesn’t fall under their “CAN’T DO” guidelines…a concert doesn’t require writters or a scrip and she is releasing it as Lady Gaga the singer not the actress PLUS it has been shot about a year ago. 1

Replay, Alice and Babylon deserved the spotlight. 1
Chromatica Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 (edited) Do we have any predictions on when ROM will reach 1B and BM 400M on spotify? Edited July 15, 2023 by Chromatica

If Rain On Me stays above 300K daily, it should hit 1B by late November. If Bloody Mary stays above 500K daily, it should hit 400M by mid-late September. 2

Any song or album can reach #1… the question is whether it has legs to at least be somewhat successful afterwards neither ROM and Chroma did that… they kept tumbling down Chroma Tour was a success I never said other wise and it was probably the only saving Grace of this era 2 1
lgaga1fan Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 ROM rushing to 1 billion streams, the album doing a million units with a horrible rollout, Gaga breaking her own records constantly because of the era… but it’s all apparently smoke and mirrors got it 3

Taylor broke all streaming metrics for spotify but is NA from on demand streams in the US, while Bloody Mary is #5. Streams don’t matter at all when entire stadiums were singing and jumping to album tracks like Replay. 1
