FameFatale Posted Friday at 02:46 PM Posted Friday at 02:46 PM I've been out of the loop since Disease. Does anyone have a schedule for this year? The SA show? Coachella?
Denim Posted Friday at 02:46 PM Posted Friday at 02:46 PM Since 2021 I've kinda treated chromatica as a TFM-esque EP and still listen to it a lot - Alice - Rain On Me - Chromatica 2 - 911 - Sour Candy - Replay - Babylon this is a 10/10 smash hit! unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of revisiting the rest of the album. Since artpop a lot of Gaga's albums have had this issue where half the album is freaking amazing career highlights but then the rest could use some work (at least imo)

Why. The Quran is quite literally & consistently top 3 in my Gar album ranking. I'm curious what the non-believers have to say for themselves tho 1

Denim Posted Friday at 02:52 PM Posted Friday at 02:52 PM I'm still in love with the chromatica album cover, theme, inspiration and photoshoots. i wish we could've dived further into it, because there were sooooo many cool ideas that were coming out great aesthetically with the era 8

Denim Posted Friday at 02:57 PM Posted Friday at 02:57 PM Born This Way The Fame Monster ____________ The Fame Chromatica = ARTPOP Joanne I have high hopes LG7 will enter the top 3 "amazing" section. Everything we've heard so far from full songs to teasers has been right up my alley and phenomenal. artpop and chromatica are extremely hard for me to rank. I actually think the pros and cons are quite similar. Both have AMAZING tracks that are career highlights, but then a decent amount of skippable filler that has not aged well imo. The difference in my opinion is artpop's filler has a LOT more personality, but chromatica's are easier to listen to. I think I'll give it to chromatica but I enjoyed artpop more as a fan because of all the fun content we got from the era from the music videos to performances to literal hundreds of iconic fashions she wore out and about that I think furthered the mission of the album 1

I don't know why people go to that when it's clearly a collaborative effort... but whatever it's doing surprisingly well. well it does feel like a bruno song. the first 1:30 ish minutes is just him singing and then when gaga comes it's both of them together. her only solo moment is 1 line in the final chorus and two lines in her verse
Hexchromatica Posted Friday at 02:59 PM Posted Friday at 02:59 PM (edited) Alessia Cara releasing Feb 14th too and her album sounds really promising I'm gonna have 2 amazing albums to listen to Edited Friday at 02:59 PM by Hexchromatica
Denim Posted Friday at 03:01 PM Posted Friday at 03:01 PM to me, Die with a Smile gives completely "&" duet vibes. I think in some parts Gaga's voice is lowered and is harmonizing so much with Bruno's that it almost sounds like he's the only one singing, also him having the first minute to himself may give the impression it's "his" song too, but imo it's definitely Bruno & Gaga 50/50 duet she doesn't stop singing really from the moment she enters which is 70% of the song Although, the style definitely feels more like a Bruno song, and if I had to guess without knowing I would've said it's originally a duet for Bruno's album not hers, so I understand why the GP may think it's Bruno with Gaga

She also mentioned that Michael built her home studio for her last Valentine's day, where I assume she recorded part of the album. So it could be like a full-circle moment of sorts. 5

Having so many dark pop songs and ballads for a Valentine's Day album is fun chaos! 1
Reginald Posted Friday at 03:05 PM Posted Friday at 03:05 PM Born This Way ARTPOP The Fame Monster The Fame Chromatica ASIB Joanne Angelina Harlequin It might be controversial to rank ARTPOP so highly, but that album has so many of her best pop songs. Sexxx Dreams, GUY, Applause, Donatella, DWUW, Aura, Gypsy Skip the filler tracks and you have a stronger album than TFM
