Denim Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I really really like the disease cover tbh. I thought it was nice at first, but the music video made me love it 1
Aston Martin Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 This was an interesting year stan-wise. Most of the year was countdowns to nothing, we unexpectedly got the biggest song of the year, and the movie we thought would smash ended up bombing 7
Denim Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Prediction: die with a smile will be the most streamed song on Spotify in 2025

Everything we predicted to smash flopped and random droplet became song of the year. So silly, that's life! I will say I'm extremely optimistic about 2025 as a little monster. I feel more confident in the quality of LG7 before release than any Gaga album to date. DWAS will begin the year at #1 and could stay there for a while. Big festival performances confirmed. General field Grammy nom and potential performance. theoretically you'd think after joker 2 performing… the way that it did, we would be in a low as a fanbase, but I feel like we are uniquely happier and hyped up than we've been in yeeeeears.

I don't want to think about what would've happened if joker performed the way it did but we didn't have DWAS nor Disease the quality of her music is stellar and her confidence around it really says it all. LG7 is going to be amazing, and it hasn't really hit me that we're this close to getting it. 1
frankvert Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 US Apple Music (Pop): 1. Die With A Smile 49. Poker Face 77. Just Dance 110. Telephone 120. Bad Romance 177. Disease 198. Paparazzi Curious to see how these rise through the next 24 hours 4

I would love applause or Alejandro to grow a bit in its "classic-ness" and be up there with the rest

Disease (amazing) and DWAS (smash) was exactly what we needed and the perfect pivot from joker 2. 1
Infernal Paradise Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Can finally say I'm getting to hear LG7 THIS YEAR!! Happy new year y'all! 7
Hair Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Having a NYE party at my house so you better believe I am going to be having Gaga on every second song 2 2
Colmillo Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I feel like she's announcing tomorrow, not today (if anything )

I dunno I haven't watched Wicked yet. I mean, you can play in a musical and NOT play the role of a singer and Gaga playing one definitely did help her. IMO her acting ability was proven with House of Gucci.
Edonis Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I'm going to be away for most of the day so I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and thank all you rats for being part of the fun of 2024! Glad I was able to rejoin this site and take part of the mess! Spoiler Fun being debatable. We had some good laughs, meltdowns, countdowns, but honestly? Good riddance to this year tbh Here's to 2025 being monumental for Gar, the Stan base, and each and every one of us. Cheers! 2

I would prefer TEOG but Judas is more likely to actually join that group of classics. Also on those stats, alleged boatmates Katy & Beyoncé only have 4 songs charting on the US AM Pop chart (and one of B's is Telephone). Has ATRL been caught in yet another lie about the strength of Gaga's catalogue, particularly on AM? 2

That would be one of my choice along with Applause among singles. But i would love for venus or replay to pull bloody mary and be up their among her hits

I don't think it fair to compare it with Bey since lot of her songs don't qualify for Pop genres, for Gaga its Shallow and ARUTW. Gaga definitely stomp on Bey when its come to Spotify streams.

The movie turned a profit and was the most successful adult drama of the Covid era, pretty much on her star power alone. Not to mention all the award noms and acclaim I love Ari but her stans acting brave and putting down Gar because she starred in a successful blockbuster based on the second biggest musical of all time is so Over $150m WW during one of the worst waves of COVID when adult dramas were bombing left and right. Even the more poppy and modern Challengers — seen as an R rated drama win in a healthier climate — led by Zendaya's growing star power directly following Dune 2 failed to top $100m (and that ended up feeling more of a co-lead success story of Hollywood rising up and comers anyway while Gaga's camp was very much the dominating show amongst a vanguard of veterans and she was rewarded for it). Even if it's in service of releasing and promoting music, it's a shame we are probably not getting another lead role for a while. I do wonder if that Liza Minnelli WB series is the next move; I can't imagine her not being on the wish list for that role. 1

Aden Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Gaga turning the fourth remake of a dead-beaten-horse movie franchise into a colossal music era was legendary and more impressive than Ariana gliding on one of the biggest musicals of all time. No shade to Ari, (she's of course talented) but Cynthia and Jonathan driving Wicked enough on their names alone. An actual "thank you Bradley" tea unlike when Gaga took nothing and made Shallow and ARUTW out if it. 3 3

Lady Claire Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 New album, more videos, iconic concerts celebrating her career (Coachella, Copacabana and maybe Glaston) and hopefully a new stadium tour announcement Regardless of anything we're WINNING in 2025, i just can't wait

Mr. Stratus Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 The Morgan song is now up to #11 on AM USA
