I mean the first visual for the LG7 era is Bruno Mars

She releases a song that GP like it will only work in tandem with DWAS. They are completely different songs anyway. Besides that, disease may pick up on radio in the new year as Xmas songs fall

idk if it's because I've not been on this cesspit much lately but has the vitriol towards GarGar gotten worse? lead single DWAS being bigger than most OGHs faves' singles in the past decade really did a number on them

In addition to DWAS smashing since release, its inclusion on LG7 basically ensures that the album will end up being platinum in the US (and with pretty respectable WW units). That's pretty good when you realize that Gaga's almost two decades into her career, and since a lot of the pop stars that OGHs stan weren't able to get that level of success at the same point, they're losing their minds. They're still living in 2013 I fear

They can't cope with the fact that Gaga has one of the biggest hits of the decade within the third decade of her career. Especially since a lot of their faves did not. Many OGHs see their faves as more successful than Gaga (even when the numbers and accolades tell a different story), and DWAS smashing makes it harder for them to keep denying reality. So they lash out. Which is why I think that if DWAS ends up topping the H100, we're really going to see some people on here lose their last modicum of sanity.

It's also an incorrect title thread that is flame bait, but is still open for some reason. The BBC article lists "Joker" as one of the biggest flops alongside "Katy's comeback". Gaga is never mentioned in the article.

Things got worse when news broke of DWAS being included in the album. LG7 already outstreaming most of their faves clashed with their narrative of 2024 being "the worst year of her career" so coping has become more challenging.

We're probably getting the album title/cover reveal on NYE to go along with her Brazil concert announcement. That would be the most logical thing but Gar's team often loves not doing the most commonsensical thing so who really knows  but yeah she needs to MOVE asap.

 

NYE would honestly be perfect day for a major album announcement not just because of BTW parallels (a nice nostalgic selling point for the pop fans) but also because the GP will be blasting her classics like JD and PF at parties everywhere so she'll have their attention by default. Plus she'll have a ton of excitement from Brazilians as well so it would give her much needed momentum going into the new year and next single era.

In retrospect, we were a lot tamer/more reserved than most other fanbases on here would've been when DWAS started smashing. We bumped any OGH threads that ended up backfiring (sHaKy sTaRt is still so ) but we really just minded our own business and enjoyed the constant updates (and still have up until now tbh). So if DWAS ends up getting the #1, we really need to be ******* insufferable about it  the OGHs are asking for it tbh.
