hey, i'm not trying to "shoot the messenger", but it could be helpful in the future if you'd at least disclose how credible your source is. if the person you're getting the tea from has given you correct information before, a statement as such would not leave a lot to be debatable. it's way too easy to simply make stuff up, credit an anonymous source and then pull the "believe me if you want to!" card, because your tea won't bite you in the ass if/when proven fake.

with that said, i still gladly appreciate any tea at this point, because we're all thirsty for the album and any details around the release! but if you mean what you're saying then imo you should try to make it as believable as possible without hurting yourself or the source

Artist work for their labels, they appear to us to be more independent than they actually are and should be. Even Michael ******* Jackson suffered from it. Idk what kind of contract they have, but very few people managed to get completely free creative direction on their projects. As far as I'm aware, Madonna's deal has always been very permissive regarding creative freedom. Maybe we assume Gaga has more control than she actually has?

I don't doubt this, but when I see people like Billie and Ariana do less traditional eras and create music that isn't super trendy I think to myself that surely Gaga has the freedom to do the same.

Luv the podcast but yeah everything about that tea is giving messy it's6a6a teas

Leaking snippets to create hype? Among the people who are already locked in to listen to the album the minute it drops? Literally no one else cares.

Why not post them on Gaga's tiktok page so they actually have a chance at gaining traction? Nothing about this tea makes sense. I do think it's well intentioned but we have to use our critical-thinking skills here.

I totally understand!

The credibility "statement" regarding my source has appeared twice, once in a podcast episode on Spotify, and once on an AMA video on YouTube, in addition to plenty of comments on GGD. Majority of members in our discord have heard this credibility statement in addition to comments on the discord, so I didn't feel the need to get back into it. Just assuming people will think I'm making stuff up atp anyway, plus I'm not offended if people don't believe what I'm saying. Perhaps I should say "the source works at a label" in the future 💗

Even Madonna suffers from it. Maybe she had more control on Warner and when she was selling more records, but she spoke at length of label interference on Rebel Heart. She never spoke about MDNA herself, but I swear that one of her producers said that label politics kept the best songs in circulation away from MDNA and they were left with other artists' scraps (she apparently wanted Chris Brown's Turn Up the Music, for example, but couldn't get it). I can't find the interview about that so I could making it up but I swear it happened.

Yeah if it was coming this year there would have been an announcement now. The real question is will she wait until the movie awards season is over in 2026? :eli:

I won't say names, but apparently someone took Sarah's passport and she can't find it anywhere. Venice cancelled for the Haus Labs Creative Director.
