She didn’t attend the Emmy’s, which were more in her favor of winning. Then again, I would’ve never expected her to attend the PCAs either lol, so at this point who knows. Gold Derby has the odds in favor of Diana Ross, and with Kelly and Michael both having around the same odds. General discussions around the awards seem to reflect that as well. It would be a shame because WCCA is truly one of Kelly’s best albums, and the originals alone outdo the rest of the nominees work, but I get the sentiment behind a vote for Diana. I’m just glad WCCA was nominated and have no expectations so that I don’t get disappointed lol. Same with the Emmys and the other awards. She deserves way more Grammys though. It’s easy for Kelly to get nominated so I’m not worried about that. It’s the winning them part. I have to believe that the reason Kelly don’t win Grammys is because she doesn’t really play the game or have her team/label go out and campaign hard in the music industry. So idk. Though, I thought she said the song was called Rock Hudson not Hero (and the concept she talked about with that song is much more interesting then the alleged lyrics). (Crocodile Tears by Katy Perry comes to mind) It was a mess. And does anyone remember that "happy happy dance" user, that posted a million dancing banana emojis in this thread?
