I was going to say this was probably Beyoncés final live performance this decade. Unless she does yet another halftime show it appears she wants every performance to be a large spectacle. Award shows can't offer her that, at best we get a prerecorded performance or private Dubai clips.

Honestly she can keep Renaissance film, visuals, and Cowboy Carter tour. In January I want "Beyonce in Dubai" on Netflix. That would truly go viral again because it was that epic.

No shade but the reason that performance wasn't allowed to be filmed and will never be released in HD is because she was actively recovering from her surgery at the time and she's literally limping throughout. She gave a great show based on the clips we saw but she'd never let that recording get released as a special because it contradicts her perfectionist super heroine brand

i really love her use of props since RWT, i hope she builds even more on that for future performances and tours. this more theatrical approach suits her so well !

I know Facebook is for dinosaurs, but it's a reminder to me how negative and miserable people can be. All of the post from major news and blogs about the show have top comments bashing Beyoncé. The way my bumble bee came out! I'm just not use to being confronted like that without warning. Ugh.

I hope you went in :clack:

its not even that...it was a private corporate event...that's all it was meant to be

there were no fans in the audience....just investors, executives, celebrities, and influencers

I follow her (she's one of Normani's bffs) and that has always been her twitter handle.

In the press thing Parkwood confirmed American Requiem was in the setlist so it must've got removed late.

Someone already posted it but it was interpolated just a bit into the Blackbiird outro, I think that is what they were referencing.

Why'd she count in yaya the way she did?

You know why - and then said SHE COMING

i need an insider to spill on what the announcement is, or at least what it isn't. i can't do 3 weeks of not knowing what it is for sure :psyduck:

3 things: Leviis Jeans was the best performance and her chemistry with Post was something else, watch out Jay :siptea: i KNEW this sing would shine live.

Ya Ya performance was almost exactly like i had envisioned, i just wish she moved more along from the very beginning and gave it a Brown/Turner- esque energy but she was saving it for later  :santa:

Godghettii being in the setlist just elevated everything for me, an A grade performance all around

Ya Ya is the type of performance that would have her going more and more extra every night like the I'm Goin Down growl and the Heated bridge. :jonny:

I figured as much, but I'm disappointed.  Feels too soon for some reason (that reason being I spent way too much on Renaissance and can't justify it again)

let's hope she either releases act III before the tour or the tour is a small 20 dates US centric type of thing, otherwise irdk how this will do…

Please tell me she didn't lip-synced whole performane. I'm watching this performance again and again, and it looks that the mic was off

It's the way everyone else on YT and TikTok are PRAISING her though. Even conservatives are saying it was an amazing performance too. Fans and non-fans alike. I think the negative people trying to spin a narrative that's not sticking tbh, but yeah girl please stay off FB when it comes to Bey. Nothing but a bunch of racist, low-life, caloric surplus inbreds that think they're cool for "not drinking the sauce" that they made up in their heads only for them to feel superior to people they've never met in their lives, lmaoooo!!! :deadbanana2:

I wonder if Bey's opinion about CC is the same as when it was released, when she said it's "the best music I've ever made".

Ik she's biased bc the album and its meaning is very personal to her, but I think she's correct. It's so much richer than anything she's done before. And there's so many career highlights - AR, Ya Ya, 2H2H, Daughter, SHB to name a few.

I don't find it a problem to listen to the album front to back. 1hr 18mins isn't that long and I think people really exaggerate when they say it's too long.

On her comment though, I wonder if she actually believes CC is better than act iii, since act iii is presumably (mostly) done when she made that remark.

Y'all this performance was truly GLOBAL though. I've seen SOOOO many people from outside of the U.S. talk about this and now it was the first football game they've ever watched, JUST to see Bey. Ooooo, girl I'm being so fr when I say I think Bey changed the game AGAIN! :deadbanana2:
