Y'all this performance was truly GLOBAL though. I've seen SOOOO many people from outside of the U.S. talk about this and now it was the first football game they've ever watched, JUST to see Bey. Ooooo, girl I'm being so fr when I say I think Bey changed the game AGAIN! :deadbanana2:

These things never turn out 100% perfect, but the people sitting at the bottom of the 'E' section were lame. Guess that's where the OBHs were sat.

So does this standalone special "later this week" only feature the performance or do we expect some documentary style bts along with it?

Question: the finale was very abrupt and felt lackluster a la Sweet Dreams EMAs. I think there were supposed to be fireworks that went off behind her with the bang banner. That would've been BIG, think Homecoming

After all the bullshit we've been through this year, history is going to look back so kindly on Cowboy Carter and Beyoncé. The level at which she's been able to consistently meet and often surpass is one that I'm so glad I'm able to witness in real time :clap3::clap3::clap3:

Okay I have two critiques:

1) 16C fights with AR for my favorite song on the album, and I understand why she wanted the Blackbird girls to shine.  But the pre-record was a rather dull way to start what was an otherwise incredible and energetic performance, and it took around four minutes of a performance that was only 11.  I wonder if they HAD to do a pre-record segment to give the dancers and band the time to set up on the field?

2) I really didn't like the costume.

16 carriages was a lackluster opener. Especially starting mid-song the way she did.

The replay value of this performance is insane. Like idk if I've ever watched one of her performances on repeat so much in 24 hours before. :deadbanana:

The best Christmas present we could've asked for.

In this 1998 interview, we catch up with Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and the original members of Destiny's Child, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson, shortly after the R&B girl-group dropped their self-titled debut album featuring the hit song, "No, No, No."

I think some BTS, it's probably part of her Netflix deal.

I agree. The lack of fireworks and fire made no sense. Fireworks were needed for the last few seconds at least.

agree with you on both. you've answered your own question, though.

I think it was probably prerecorded because of the live animals + it created time for field set up.

her outfit was cute but nothing to write home about. hair and makeup were EXCELLENT.

I'm quite happy with 2024 tbh and I LOVE that we've been fed every year since the acts started.

2022 - Renaissance

2023 - RWT, Renaissance film

2024 - CC, Halftime show

2025 - we know something is coming with January's announcement so we're in for another good year

I think there'll be something else. If it was just the performance they would have been able to upload it as soon as it ended.

I'm guessing you're not American?  Because all 2024 I've felt like Farrah getting sent home without my luggage :deadbanana:

I loved it too. Idk what they were expecting lmao, I'm glad she also didn't show too much given conservative Amerikkka and all. She has soooo much body though, so anything she wears they will try and find a way to objectify her lmao! :deadbanana2:

I thought her costume was incredible as well. One of her better live performance getups for sure. Beats 2013 SB, VMAs 2016, pretty much all Grammys (except 2017) and I'd say neck and neck with SB 2016, VMAs 2014. I'd rank it among the better Beychella looks as well

I don't think I have a single thing to critique about last night's showcase.
