We're the only two persons in the base that loved the opening.

I'm shocked by the negative commentary regarding it in here. I thought it was very in tune with the Christmas spirit without being blatantly Christmas-y. It was nice. It was also mindful to have the horses secluded in a space where they're less likely to be spooked or whatever the case may be live on the field.

Actually...knowing her, it'd be quite the opposite. Time and time again, Beyonce has proven to do the opposite of what's expected.

even tonight...no one expected a 16C opening

You're right tbh. Same way none of us expected her to open RWT with DIL.

I loved the opening too. She looked grand on the horse and I love both 16C & Blackbird :michael: vocals were pretty, I can't complain lol

It gave me a bit of a Christmas-y vibe too which was nice

Beyonce getting all this attention but I thought she was a killer though?

Didn't she get rid of Biggie, Pac, Aaliyah, Left-Eye and Michael Jackson?

We're definitely getting something tour or residency related on January 14th or else Live Nation wouldn't have retweeted the teaser.

Beyonce & Netflix just raised the bar for halftime shows in general!

Amazing work.

10/10

The new bar has been raised and no one will meet it.

Possibly, but let's not forget the fiasco when LiveNation retweeted this which turned out to be nothing.

Considering it uses the Netflix Beyoncé Bowl Font, Netflix matched her Bio with "Look at that Horse", the assistant director who worked on Homecoming retweeted it with a '🎥', *and* LiveNation retweeted,

this is most likely going to be a BTS documentary containing the actual performance, which shows her discussing the album itself AND the making of the halftime show. And it ends with her announcing a tour.

this serves as good fodder for Grammy voters, fulfils one of her Netflix deals AND explains all the confusion

Won't Grammy voting be over by the 14th?

Didn't her manager already deny the tour?

I hope its not a re-release or something :rip:

So the Beyoncé Bowl could be like a mini version of last year's Renaissance film (if there's a decent amount of additional/BTS footage included). And this time we're actually getting it on streaming. :jonny5:

Isn't that just a fan theory and nothing indicates that there will be any additional footage?

Yeah it's a theory. I think it's specifically the wording of "standalone special" which is leading people to think there's more, because they could've just said performance or standalone video, but it being a "special" is intriguing.

It would also add to why it's taking a few days to be uploaded. If it was just the performance they could upload it now. So it's almost like they need a couple days to edit something together.

It could all mean absolutely nothing, though.

i loved the opening as well...i was pleasantly surprised by 16C opener after all the debate over other options. when Blackbird started too...i was kinda confused & didn't know where things were going but when I saw the other girls emerge looking beautiful...I found it to be heartwarming. Then "Yaya" came & slayed.

I feel like a lot of the complaints from the haters are coming from people having Super Bowl/Coachella expectations for an event that explicitly isn't the Super Bowl.

No major artist has put this much work into a standalone, non-Super Bowl performance or executed it this well since her own Coachella, and people are grasping at straws to complain.

Wait who said it wouldn't be a Beyonce announcement if we weren't feeling confused?

why did no one mention that big ass BANG at the end of the performance? I feel like that's a hint.. she's been using that everywhere for years now. That makes me think that the announcement could be the visuals.. the date font gives me horror/ weird movie vibes which is how the visuals have been described. Besides, live nation has been RT stuff in the past and nothing happened
