Who said she cant be in the act 3 era while doing that

The amount of times she is referenced in tv shows and movies is crazy. I remember someone was trying to track it all here, did they end up doing it?

The book not even being shipped yet.

I really wouldnt read into the art book - her merch is always unreliable - but I agree that this seems like the tentpole event of the era (thus far)

Exactly, I was watching a 2006 UK soap opera the other day and she was mentioned.

I don't think this has been posted?

James Brown did the 1997 halftime….. maybe that FUNK era is coming after all? :WAP:

I saw the gworls say that this is a made up Twitter rumor, who knows?

Also, 250k is literally NOTHING when it comes to production of this magnitude.

At the lower end, mid millions (at the barest minimum) if it's in the vein/scale of her previous Halftimes. If it's prerecorded in any way, it'll be even more as that's a whole production to add in the mix.

Still absolutely baffled that they signed this visualiser off. $5 budget, Canva single artwork, horrid glitchy aesthetic. Considering how viral it would have gone if the two of them actually showed up in the same room for a lil visualiser shoot... it's such a misfire from Parkwood.

Praying there's a duet planned for this for the Christmas show, this song deserves to be on that RIAA list.

The more I think about it, the more I agree.

In place of the tour announcement that Yvette has already shot down, maybe just maybe she will drop the CC visuals right after.

If it's individual films per act (which I think was alluded to first by Es Devlin in Vogue) and if the tea about her always envisioning CC droppng first holds true, dropping the the CC visual first + standalone works.

If there's a narrative tie-in to the other acts, then I imagine she could simply do a cliffhanger that keeps us hyped for whatever the next "drop" is.

I feel like this is an impossible task, lol!

I have a running joke with a friend that (almost) every book I read that's been written in the last 5-10 years mentions Beyoncé somehow. it's kind of insane. she is still what people think of when they think of "pop star" regardless of the chart/sales stats.

I'm still gagging at this outtake, everything looks so perfect (and better than the over edited pic used for the deluxe cover) :jonny5:

As a Michael fan Bey has surpassed him in some categories.

Vocals - Bey

Albums - Bey

Dancing - Michael

Videography - Michael

& obviously Bey's strengths are related to the music which is what really matters so she edges him out for me. As much as I love Bey's videos she's not touching Black Or White, Bad, Remember The Time etc. Maybe if she actually dropped the Rennie/CC visuals she could overtake him on visuals but we'll never know. :cm:

Spoiler

Michael obviously has the tours to his credit too :eli: & longevity (but Bey will surpass his longevity if she's still smashing in 5 years)

Beyoncé is the more consistent artist and performer. Period. Michael Jackson 26 years in would not have been capable of giving a RWT.

Beyoncé will never touch his fame, hits or status and at the end of the day Beyoncé was not a childhood prodigy. I have also yet to see a Beyoncé music video as amazing as Smooth Criminal. Beyoncé also didn't write Billie Jean (I'd say the closest thing we have to that is Independent Women and yeah…no)

I'm so sick of the comparisons to anyone atp. Beyoncé is simply a legend in her own right. Beychella has yet to be topped by any artist, living or dead. And her dedication to creating amazing bodies or work/moments in pop culture so far into her career is unheard of.

Beyonce >> Michael Jackson

But MJ has never been the be all, end all for me...no matter how many records he's sold.
