AxelFox Posted June 4 Posted June 4 5 hours ago, yonsé said: it might not be your *favorite* beyoncé album, but it is objectively her widest scoping and highest acclaimed album. she has always explored various genres, but this album explores the most. there is classic rock, country, pop, rnb, opera, doowop, and even rap cuts on this album, and she makes it all work cohesively. that is what makes it a masterpiece. I do agree that it's probably her most grand project in scope, regardless of how the execution turned out. But I'm not so sure about most acclaimed. Lemonade still edges its metacritic score and has had incredible retrospective acclaim too, making all kinds of all-time best lists. And while Renaissance shares the same metacritic score, it absolutely demolished the year-end lists and was unanimously crowned as the best album of that year by a large margin. The jury is still out on Cowboy Carter imo, wether it will see the long term praise the other two had or not. 3
Crayzik Posted June 4 Posted June 4 You can clearly hear Beyoncé's input in II MOST WANTED just by listening to the demo but yeah....Thiefoncé etc etc

arctic-turner Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I imagine a tour will come soon cause she doesn't want to miss out exploiting prices if something happens to Ticketmaster 3

Her coming up with YA YA last minute proves that as it shits over most of the other songs on CC. 1
