I might be really optimistic but I am hoping for a 80M before the end of the era. :gaycat7:

80M listeners!? I mean she’s already grown like 15M+ ever since the release of just TH’E and 16C and she’s nearly growing 1M listeners per day and TH’E hasn’t even hit its full smashery potential yet. I truly feel once the album drops, and maybe even visuals she’s gonna cap at 85-90M lol

Well I def think 70mill is achievable even before the album drops.

80mill is a high target but can be achieved!

@BnPac Judging by the reach of other female artists and especially Mariah (90m with her xmas song) means Bey can likely get around 80 too, I believe.

I've always said in the streaming era, you need either a smash or releasing consistently. Lemonade's songs were hindered from becoming smashes plus there was 7 years without solo music but now that she is on track to have a smash, she should regain her footing. If she starts releasing consistently every 2 years too, the sky is the limit. But tbh when you have huge smashes, you can even afford to take long breaks in the streaming era.

I really believe the THE visual is coming for some reason. It’s was something about that teaser. I have no clue, but sorely want to be right. If not now, March 1st would be the perfect day.

The music industry must be way more complicated than we think because her music is the only thing that gets handled horribly. Perfume, gym clothes, merch, shampoo ventures were all handled smoothly. Meanwhile we had to spam Parkwood to release Acapella and instrumental of Texas, begged them to tag Texas on TikTok etc…

So is the two-part visual really a thing that's confirmed? Do we know the release date for it.

I'm perched for the RENAISSANCE visuals + the tour film

70 million could happen as early as next week tbh :skull: it’s still growing really big daily numbers

Oh, it IS! I was reading a Beyoncé subreddit were a user who’s close friends with a dancer, not a part of the RWT, who said she was called in to do reshoots for a film that will be released in March 2024…. This was posted like 6+ months ago, so I’m definitely believing the rumors of a Part I film that will hopefully encompass both acts. I could definitely see this being done in the realm of Jordan Peele’s “NOPE.” Who knows, but we’ll see soon! I definitely think we’ll be getting some sort of announcement: album cover, act ii additional trailer, etc. within the next week or two :duca:

I'm rolling with the unannounced/act II title for now - Everything so far has been handled pretty well.

No title - at least in the initial portions of this rollout - has really centered the concept of a trilogy, or at least forced many of the news outlets to contextualize this upcoming album as a continuation by just stating act II. That's the only thing that makes sense in terms of messaging - so if that was the point, I think they were successful up until this point. Looking forward to the rollout of physicals and everything to come. That vinyl is gonna be a hot commodity.

80 million could definitely be achieved once the album is released and IF there is some sort of “visual” that encompasses both albums, giving RENAISSANCE  a boost. So, we shall see.

have you learned nothing from the renaissance era? she wants us to absorb the music *first*

honestly, who knew going country could be such a commercial sweet spot for Beyoncé?

it's really amazing, actually, that she has been having this success given how at least in the last 6 years or so, going country didn't exactly mean big success, but I suppose that it's because above all else, TEXAS HOLD 'EM is a really catchy, simple but effective pop song that appeals to people far beyond country, but also within the genre itself.

her confidence is unmatched however, because I'm sure even Beyoncé didn't expect THIS kind of immediate success and on paper none of us could have predicted it either, especially after all the meltdowns and thinkpieces about everything she apparently did wrong in act I.  and I love that despite us having certain SB rumours we were still gagged at what exactly she had coming for us.

I love to see her doing whatever she wants to do, even at the apparent disproval of her fans (am I wrong to assume most people were not super hopeful about a country album's commercial potential?).

If we don’t get a music video before the album drops then we will not see any music videos until 2026-2027 when the 3 acts are done

There is no way in hell she filmed 2 visual albums and didn’t like them

It’s exciting and sad at the same time

I got a notification from Spotify that she was performing in London on the 26th March but when I clicked on it there was just an error message, anybody else?

It’s so encouraging seeing the GP tides change a bit back in Beyoncé’s favor. I would say after the 2017(?) Super Bowl performance—most wrote her off as an anti-police, has been who would eventually venture more into Hip-Hop and potentially lose a lot of the GP interest she once had during the “Single Ladies” and “Halo” days.

After the 2017-2019 period, which seems like it lasted forever, it was promising to see her hit #1 with Megan on “Savage Remix.” Then comes the RENAISSANCE era and honestly looking back—the beginning of that era is a flop for me in terms of getting the message across at the beginning. How can you drop a “come back” single with an all black single cover, no video, no promo, etc :grump: but I digress..

It seems with “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” however, she’s seeing a (positive) resurgence within the GP, within the media outlets praising her, social media influence, etc. This is everything I wanted “act i” to be, but then I think of the LIFE CHANGING tour and the accompanying film and despite the lack of visuals—that era translated DEEP within the queer and Black communities. So, that’s what matters for me now looking back on the era and the aesthetic for that era will forever be top tier within her discography.

I’m hoping with this new era that not only is it on par, or even better than RENAISSANCE, I hope that it sheds new light and meaning on that era and becomes an era where new people go back and fall in love with. I wanted that at the beginning, but I think with “act ii” it will make us all have a greater appreciation for “act i” and stan it even harder than before :weeps:

All-in-all, even though the haters don’t matter, it feels GOOD to have all this current success with the new era and if we indeed get visuals on March 29, it’ll be the best belated birthday gift :hippo:
