cuteboyzay Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Do y’all think Beyoncé did reshoots for the Visuals because of the weight thing too? Because I can tell she’s been REALLY loving her new body ever since Renaissance and she looks much happier with it too (the consistent posting and revealing couture). And I’m nearly convinced she held reshooting for this same exact reason too lmao. Do y’all think so? Cause I’m just trying to figure out . 2 1
Shelter Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Where is the pre order for album? Really surprised it’s not up yet

I hope we get 4 boxes or versions and this time let’s hope they have plenty in stock. I’m not here for that sold out crap 54 minutes ago, Shelter said: this is hilarious 3

With A Star is Born dropping in 2018 and filming taking place in 2017. I can imagine that the talks Bradley mentioned were around 2015/16. The irony of all of this is that there's a chance we would have gotten Country or Country-adjacent Bey way earlier looking and listening to what the material in the movie ended up like. Albeit within the context of a film soundtrack, so probably will have been spun as a "concept" soundtrack to justify it being so left of what's usually expected of Bey. Then again, I do remember reading that the original concept with Bey would have been different and more along the lines of The Bodyguard. So maybe "Ally" would been more Sasha Fierce lol. I think it all worked out as it should have. Love both ladies. Edited February 21 by Cbreezy 1

In terms of Bey, every day has been like Christmas for me of late, because I legit thought a cute top 10 would be a realistic goal (and still an uphill battle) for this song. So, a #2 launch, a wave of #1s in the coming week, and stability are literally way beyond anything I would have foreseen upon first hitting "play" on THE. Make no mistake, "hits" are available to Bey if she wants them, but she a) has rarely peddled in that direction over the last decade and b) I think it's fair to say that listening to THE didn't scream "Beyonce hit". Texas Hold Em along with 16 Carriages, felt more like an artistic declaration of what's coming with the album than one of the biggest hits of her career. So, the randomness of the slay is such a gag. FSXP Posted February 21 Posted February 21 (edited) I think it’s just the anxiety of stanning Beyoncé. This is obviously moving at a rate to be a big hit. Only thing stopping it right now is the TTH playlisting. BUT, you can argue that right now (at least this week), it’s already going #1 cause it’s the most balanced song on all metrics. It will continue to move up TTH as it remains stable and it’s getting bigger on Tik Tok and growing quicker. This is pointing to being a long run at #1 for her imo. Streams and radio are aligning in a way that most hits don’t have. They either lag in streams with good radio or they peak on streaming way before they peak on radio. This isn’t happening to TH’E. As a fan of both it would be interesting to know if they interacted at some point. 1
