I’m so CONFUSED. I thought BMS did numbers its first week. Seeing how this is doing so much better is leaving me confused. With Beyoncé every drop always alienates a fan base and brings in new fans. Idk if there’s actually that many new fans or if not too many people left the train station this go around. I expected this to flop since her old school r&b fans wouldn’t like this at all

im convinced this fanbase thinks beyoncé is a nobody :suburban:

My delulu is kicking in and reading too much into the visual hints (from the director and make up artists) and it's making me think that this Act will have visuals upfront. :jonny:

But the the more I think about it, it wouldn't fit the "all acts are connected via visuals" narrative, which seems the most likely at this point.

I’m still lost. Cause doesn’t this have little to no radio support which is the heaviest tracking system for billboard? AND this was released on a Sunday. I thought tweets were saying this would debut at number 14-10. Why did it change to #1?????

It didn’t change to #1. It changed potential #2 debut. Right now #2 is looking at around 180 points while #1 is 240. Unless Bey drops multiple new versions and Hive mass buys that’s sadly out of reach.

And the reason why it went from people first saying it can miss top 10 to now being a top 5 is because the second day hold was incredibly stable. No one expected that.

as i understood it, this is a weak week and it doesn't need that much points to debut high

edit: they're just lying on twitter that it has chance for a #1 debut so people buy it more

Not you being confused & lost. :gaycat6: It's streaming numbers were strong, and have remained strong, which wasn't expected, and it's looking like it'll be enough for a top 5 debut, possibly even top 2.

i know it’s technically true, but “best day ever” for a song that has been out for not even 3 full days is sending me a bit

I've always said Daddy Lessons will be the most revisited song from Lemonade down the line and one of the most remembered despite not even being a single and people here scoffed. It has more streams than singles.

Anyway those 3 deserve that increase. Next 6Inch and Freedom.

I’m not in the camp that thinks the visuals are tied together.

I personally think we are at least getting TH’E visual sooner than later and the Act I visuals are not coming.

Imagine getting visuals for 48 songs at 1 time. That’s insane and way too much to process at once. And it dilutes the impact of whatever act is out.

skipping visuals for one album only would be worse to me than just holding them all until the end actually :chick3:

Or at least full songs.  I could see small interplays, or snippets

any visuals would be overshadowed by people wondering why there weren't any for act i.

How do we get the Switfties to buy this though? lol

Her announcing act ii gave me peace of mind for the visuals. Remember when most of us were dying inside, thinking the acts were scrapped along with the visuals.
