oh my god I was thinking about this yesterday :'( I'd want a medley of the bangers and uptempos (Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits, What's Love Got To Do With It, Private Dancer, Better Be Good To Me, Back Where You Started, The Best, Steamy Windows, Foreign Affair , In Your Wildest Dreams) but knowing Neck she'll do her funeral ass rendition of River Deep Mountain High and call it a day

If she does the Renaissance version and call it a day she better raise it a key or two .... Or add the uptempo part charl

a tour mystery I haven't solved or seen anyone mention yet:

why did she stop hopping on the disco ball during Drunk in Love after opening night? it seems to be an intentional change, seeing as she did end up including Stockholm footage in the movie (one of the rare times she does). what went wrong? was the disco ball too rough on the couture outfits? was it too hard on her knee to jump up and down or slide against the ball?

There's a lot of things that changed for the worse after opening night if we're being honest.

She did add a couple of nice things after (mostly the Tina tribute and the gestures during the transition into Cozy) but all other changes I've personally not been very keen on.

The first Stockholm concert remains the best version of the show.

You know repeating this every time won’t make it true right? :deadbanana4:

you ate that

@AxelFox always going on and on about her stiff ass and lame crowd being the best show :gaycat5:

I think her US shows have all been better than Europe, maybe aside some from Paris and London shows being better than, like, Minnesota and ****. the best singular night? I'd say it's between Houston (Night 1), New Orleans and LA (Night 3). None of which I was at, unfortunately!

Might not be true for you but it is to me. :michael:

I know I might be partial to it to some extent because it's one of the shows I attended but I genuinely think there's things from that concert that should've stayed constant throughout the tour. (also I attended the Dusseldorf show for the FWT and do not think that was one of the best dates in the slightest)

These are just from the top of my head, chronological order:

- they started opening the circle screen midway through DIL therefor mashing the DIL and F&A performances together. DIL should've stayed just her with the sunset clouds behind as a heavenly opening and THEN open it for F&A and showcase the band to differentiate the two

-the cloak she started using for ITG made the start of the performance very static

-the way she did the poses with the robot arms for Cozy during opening night were the best cause she was perfectly framed inside them and not going outside them

-the increasing use of shades throughout the entire show was appalling. Her eyes and expressivity are one of the best aspects of her performances

-Virgo's Groove was cut even shorter

-the outfits have been getting worse in general

-Thique was cut shorter as well when she started doing it again

-no riding on the disco balls for Drunk In Love

-she stopped changing her gloves for the bee costume and just kept the ones she had during the previous act

I’ll be attacked for this, but I wasn’t really a fan of the Tina tribute.

I was strictly referring to the show itself and not how loud and hype the crowd supposedly was or was not.

And sure, she went harder in on the moves during the NA leg. And while it would've been great if she started the tour in the same way and it does look better on camera in comparison when you check videos on Youtube now, I don't think it's very noticeable while you are there in the crowd enjoying the show.

It didn't even cross my mind until after I came back to the hotel and saw people on here complaining about it. So I'll take the better make up, hair and outfits over 20% sharper moves. :cm:

Kansas City was the best show because she put her entire Renessussy into it, the outfits were great, and she herself just seemed like she was really having fun

hair could’ve been better but it also really complemented the opening gown + following two acts so it’s fine

My only gripe is the constant use of capes/coats and sunglasses. She did me dirty at Vancouver for the BMS section:tsk: I wanted ass to be shaken, tatas to be bounced, I wanted to feel like she was motorboating me and I got minimal boob action! Stingy with her love indeed:tsk:

I do agree, I think it was overdone vocally but that could also be due to the fact that you can't really prepare a performance like that in advance. She clearly is an extremely gifted vocalist, but in this particular performance, I did feel like she was doing too much.

I dont think they'd release anything while it's still showing in theaters. Hopefully when it's released on streaming or rent, they could capitalize it by releasing the live album with it.

Dangerously in Love by Beyoncé is getting over 100k daily streams but the superior Destiny’s Child version is getting 10k.
