I dont think she can do a live album with this film. Too many cuts and voice overs. I suspect she could be releasing a special Netflix version of the tour without the backstage stuff and then release a live album with it.  It would genius to be honest. The whole show, no cuts given to Netflix.

the one thing that i noticed was how some of the extreme close-up shots were so obviously not filmed during the concert? like she filmed them during rehearsal and shes looking directly into the camera. it was a little jarring lol

I think those inserts were filmed at Kansas City. At least the ones for Alien Superstar. Remember she was being filmed onstage in and around the robot suit a few hours before the final show began.

In my viewing, a lot of people got up for heated and then she just cuts into the interview about uncle Johnny which was very sweet but it killed the momentum :toofunny2:

Exactly omg my body was ready and then-

Does anyone know why there would be a random rectangle on the screen whenever she had that grainy filter :giraffe:

It’s a sprocket hole. But those are never supposed to be visible when a film print is projected, so idk why she insists on having it there all the goddamn time I wanted to SLAP it off the screen omg it really pisses me off :giraffe: She’s corny

Did you get the swimming pool too? I just got back from my second screening but tonight I purposefully stayed out of the theater until I knew the previews were be over because I don’t play with that ****. Idk why’d they’d show that before Renny

I think it can be done if it's a live album of the tour and not the concert film if that makes sense.

Maybe, but at my shows, she regularly had a camera right in her face lol

It can be done even with the cuts. Songs got reconstructed for Homecoming too: Drunk In Love cuts to Lilac Wine in the middle of the song, but that only happens in the film.

The film is truly incredible! The level of detail and intentionality of the entire endeavor blows me away. The section dedicated to Blue was so moving. My heart broke a little when Bey spoke about people hating Blue just because she's their daughter. I'm happy Blue has the hive to lift her up.

Also, when BILG started, almost everyone in the theater got out of their seats and started dancing - a moment of pure joy and love. I felt like I was transported back to the show for a brief second—another priceless memory created by Bey. :heart2:

I really hope she puts the whole concert on a streaming service. Cutting 1+1 and Love on Top was a mistake. Point blank. People would have been singing all the songs in the cinema. The Tina Turner tribute should have been left also in full. Songs like Partition, Diva could have been cut. Sorry not sorry.

👀 You don’t have to be sorry, just know Blue was right.
