R.E.M. Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 A Vegas residency for an artist at the height of their touring demand is absolutely insane 1
SashaDevachelli Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Imagine taking an edible, watching Bey’s visuals in the sphere while she serenades you Idk if I can say what I’d do to get tickets, but I’m going to see mother no matter what
Opulence Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I'm lowkey drunk I just want to say I love this base and I love Beyoncé 4 1

Plus the looks claustrophobic as hell. Id be so scared to enjoy the show 1

Id be so scared to enjoy the show yeah these are for bands or ed sheeran where people go to vibe and don't care to see the performers themselves. ik people would want bey on the big screen, but that defeats the purpose and breaks the immersion. with her big brain though, she could somehow make it work. 1

Cause to be fair, we did fail the mute challenge for like the whole first leg. afsdl;ld
ScorpiosGroove Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 i do not want her singing in that gimmicky ball let alone in Vegas when she’s at the height of her touring demand, especially not when she’s too lazy to visit any place on this planet that isn’t in america or europe leave the vegas mess to her struggling peers, god knows they’ll need it 2

What Beyonce sees: "10+ Mio for 3-4 shows" ******* capitalist that makes 0 sense when she gets +10M for 1 of her own shows considering she’s all about the money, working less for more, why bother rehearsing an entirely different show, hiring a new crew, new stage design etc when you can squeeze over 10M out of each date on your own with the tour you were on not even a month ago 1

She and her team are doing everything last minute and think the world always stops for them. The sphere however probably approached her, so it was easier to arrange for her Edited November 16, 2023 by Kristie Kuwa 1

ScorpiosGroove Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 the way we were all 100% sure to have ACT II & the visuals by 2023 and now it’s basically 2024 and we have neither 2

I think Gaga's sales were not as high as they once were when she signed up for this residency (I might be mistaken!), and Adele notoriously hates touring so Vegas was the best solution for her (and made her fall in love with performing again!). So Beyoncé doesn't really fall in either of these categories... But touring would allow her to see her kids as much as she wants so who knows... It would still be weird to do a residency in the middle of a three-act project. 2

It would still be weird to do a residency in the middle of a three-act project. Gaga had performed at the Super Bowl previously the year she announced her residency and had gone on the Joanne World Tour, though it's understandable why Gaga did Vegas since she has had health issues while on the road. Adele is also a good point! One thing I thought of with this news was how Beyoncé said in 2021 that she has struggled with insomnia throughout her life, and I think touring would be challenging if you struggled with that. Vegas maybe can give her stability and a consistent schedule. 2
Devin Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 adele, bruno, gaga, and other names went to vegas during or after a commercial high lol. i like that more artists are tryna break the stigma but this puta needa drop act ii and iii first. 1
Kassi Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Y’all are doing the most. Bey herself has done residencies during her commercial peaks, I Am… Yours, Roseland, Atlantic City… this would be no different. Imagine it would be a substitute for the usual award shows she does every era. Just for a more exclusive group of fans rather than as free promo for ABC, CBS, NBC, MTV or whomever. 1

I always think of residency just like Celine Dion's or Katy Perry's that extend over several years, but it's true that there's also short ones like Kylie's or Xtina... And she can call it 'act ii' and we would be LIVID.
Click Clack Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 what’s this i hear about a vegas residency

satellites.™ Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Are you all using your brains or what? Bey is doing something she's always done, she knows when to take risks, when to play it safe, when to innovate, and most importantly...when to test the waters through other acts. The AMC deal worked for Taylor and so Bey decided it was a good idea due to the strike. U2 is the BIGGEST TOURING ACTING IN THE WORLD and they are doing the Vegas Sphere, Bey is CLOSE with Bono, I imagine conversations were held. Quote This brings the residency to 36 performances. Lead singer Bono, guitarist The Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Bram van den Berg are set to return to the stage on Jan. 26, 2024. The last scheduled performance is set for Feb. She can do this stop and keep it pushing to Latin AM and wherever else and be just fine.
satellites.™ Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Quote Writing to Beyoncé and Kendrick about their ‘Freedom’ collaboration, Bono wrote: “There is nowhere this song is not going to go. That freedom’s torch here is carried by you two standard bearers…. I give thanks. “In my 60 years, I was served many platters but rarely one like the Queen Bey’s album LEMONADE.” They WORK intimately, she has the tea.

Planet Mars Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 As much as Beyoncé annoys me with her allergy to Leaving the house (unless it's for a check) sometimes I'm so glad she's low-key because whew the girls be EMBARRASSING themselves I'll take the flop streams thank you. 1
RIKI232 Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 what about the TEA she's doing UK stadium leg in summer 2024?
