This should have been the poster all along. I Dont know what that red poster was but it didn't represent the era well at all. Anyway at least they got it right now.

Taylor's film made some real money. More than most movies out so of course now they are all serious about the movie and i expect the promotion to kick up a notch too. My girl Bey is never playing about her money. It's obvious when it comes to things that dont make artists much money anymore, like streams and album sales, she doesn't invest that much but those movie grosses ain't to play with! Same for the perfumes money. She is in her bag right now literally!

All she needs is a cute Tik Tok about preparing what to wear for the movie and it will start a trend. She doesn't need anything more to secure good profit for the film.  People are always ready for a good time and they know with Bey they will get it.

I can’t wait to get my hands on CÉ NOIR it smells amazing and expensive very luxury type of fragrance, it reminds me of Delina by Parfums de Marly & Kilian scent

Same here. Bey always had the best perfumes in the game and the best selling among singers too. I'm glad she has not given up on making them. For a while it seemed she was done with it but great move to keep it going and now she will own her stuff 100%.

I'm still of the belief that true promo for the film doesn't actually matter until the weeks leading up to the launch because that's when the GP buys tickets. and since it seems she will be doing two premieres in two continents (which she hopefully attends), that seems to be already planned.

Again, if we are wanting her to access the GP, we need to remember the GP is not the ones who are going to pre-order tickets two months in advance, upon first notice, and from an instagram post. When was the last time any of us pre-ordered tickets for a movie two or even one month in advance, without having been a fan of the source material/franchise/actors/directors already?

The closet I've ever come to doing that has been pre-ordering Barbie tickets, and I enjoy the Barbie brand, and having to buy them about a week-and-a-half in advance because there wasn't availability. If not, I'd have gone for the nearest ticket possible and I only started looking/planning for tickets the week of its release.

album sales

Album sales still make money. That's why some artists invest in it.

We could barely find physical copies or vinyls for Renaissance.

She loves money but she doesn't realize there's still ways to get plenty of it in music if you beat the iron long enough.

Albums and Vinyls must be made in advance and shipped before an era starts if you want a decent amount to be distributed at the right time and that means more risks for leaks too. I could see why Beyoncé is not into it too much because people will leak her stuff especially to be petty knowing how secretive she is. She needs to find a balance of course but i think Act II will have a similar rollout to self titled after the leaks of Act I.  Perhaps she can do the vinyls with a special edition, add some bonus tracks to motivate the sales but it seems when it comes to albums and streams, there is a conflict there at the moment. She is not motivated by it at all.

Perfect promo would be surprise-releasing the visuals on streaming mid November :WAP:

That goes against all Hollywood marketing strategy. If so, they wouldn't invest in trailers that come 1 year or 6 months before the movie, just to invest again on a new one that goes on power rotation a couple months before the movie.

As a huge superhero fans, people do not understand that Avengers was so big because the seed of it was planted since 2008 with the first Iron Man and constantly teased after throughout each movie. And that created a revolution.

And trailers do not work only for pre-orders. If some people have one of the following profiles interested in concerts, has heard that Beyoncé is a good performer and was also a bit curious about it, kinda like pop music etc see her trailer a couple of times, with time in between, they're much more likely to buy the tickets when the movie is in theaters.

True. A good trailer can make or break a movie. The first trailer Bey released on Instagram was perfect. It should have been the only trailer associated to this film until she released a similar one. The trailer she announced the film with was not effective at all. I expect her second trailer to be more special but i truly hope she does it right.

I also agree with this post. There must be a balance of the two though because Beyoncé is so big and we must never underestimate her base. She has also gained a lot of new fans since Renaissance and her fans are becoming more diverse but also more specific to her brand. I'm not worried about this movie. I hope she chooses Netflix as streaming partner though once the theatre run ends.

Are they selling tickets to the premiere(s)? :giraffe:

That would be great tbh. But she was seen with Amazon's CEO and they are dealing with the tour's merchandise so we'll see.
