I’m nervous cause she hasn’t been trending well. I remember lemonade era whenever Beyonce did anything it went #1 on twitter. This announcement peaked at #4 I think and currently out of the top 20. Some theaters she will do well, other locations I expect first day to do decent and it’ll flop after opening weekend. She better spill some good tea to get the media to get people in the theaters

If it flops, imma join the others and say the trailer was pretty lackluster. I know it’s corny to have dialogue taken out of context or a scene of crying but I think there are some stunts she could’ve pulled.

#1 include footage from the Dubai show specifically Drunk in Love, the tour can feature a moment of her coming up with the idea and then incorporating into the tour

#2 the DC show with the rain, show some footage of the dancers and her soaked but still serving fierce energy

#3 tease a new song that will release with the live album

It's because she announced it in the middle of the night which I'm sure scrambled most of the hype and chaotic-ness from fans. It got announced at 2am for East Coast people, meaning if people were asleep - then they would've found out in the morning when they woke up.

I don't think it really matters if she's promoted this much yet. In fact, I'd say she's doing the fans a service by letting them get all the (good) tickets first, and then as the date moves closer (there is still ~2 months) we can worry about if she's promoting it or not.

The only way promo now would serve her best is to have it fully sold out and ready (but again, that sucks for true fans who are competing with GP), or if they would open more showings based on demand.

TBH releasing the live album the week before, plus a new song (Before I Let Go style, so maybe a Sylvester cover would be amazing!) would be great pre-release promo.

I agree! The movie comes out in 2 months, not tomorrow. She will more than likely unveil more and more information, or more information will leak which will build hype.

once she makes the Instagram telling people to come in chrome, they will start making outfit videos, etc. it’s going to be an event!

Secondly, they are still editing the film - so maybe they wanted to give as little away as possible until they have the final product

This would make for such a great THE RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR: LIVE ALBUM bonus track.

Not only is it by an under-appreciated iconic Black, queer artist, but the lyrics really embody the concept and purpose of the tour:

We have a whole 2 months before the film release. Surely we'll get a follow-up trailer, posters, the cinemas promoting it on their websites, worldwide theatrical release that will generate more buzz.. we have a long time for tickets to sell i'm not worried at all

But movie campaigns usually start much sooner than two months out. In terms of promotion it is not a lot of time.

Trailers are typically released 4 months ahead of time. She can't just post the trailer and disappear for the rest of the week. She should have immediately followed up with more social media content.

Still, this needs promo to the point where people rant about how sick they are of seeing it. I want FB ads, Youtube movie ads of the trailer on popular videos, TikTok banners, advertisements of silver popcorn containers, Alien Superstar/Cuff It candy, multiple billboards and posters, clips of the visuals (if they are even in the movie) etc., This is a film in THEATRES. Hype means almost everything when it comes something as grand as Bey. This isn't an album where she can be radio silent until the week of release.

I think there will be a second or third trailer like any movie released in theaters. The problem is film has not finished editing yet. She will work on that with Parkwood soon and then when they have the final product, no doubt she will release a more elaborate sickening trailer. The litle montage she released on her instagram a while ago was definitely more iconic so we know she has the content.

We are literally 2 months away and the film hasn’t even been announced for 12 hours!

People also just went to the concert so is getting the crowd who wants to revisit that memory!

I feel excited!

Beyoncé in her cozy pose would have been an iconic cover.

Its a tour movie tho. Tays movie had even less time between announcement and release

the visuals, lights and vocals during lift off are amazing! One of the best moments of the show.

And she’s going to do exactly that. Absolutely nothing between now and December 1st or 1st weekend predictions are lower than anticipated which will be a week before release like you said. We should all be shambles I can’t believe some of y’all think she’s going to release another trailer lol. At most the media may get to see it first and will write articles about it the week of release. “Beyoncé reveals in new film Solange pushed her down the stairs breaking her knee”

now that I think about it, it doesn't matter if she does any promo. I don't see anyone but fans going because:

1. No one goes to the movies anymore

2. $28 for a movie ticket is STEEP, no casual fan will want to pay that to see a movie

Now what do y'all think the custom popcorn bucket will be? Reneigh? The "ON-AIR" box? The movie poster glued on with elmers glue?

idk why some of you keep feeding into these doomsday losers that have been acting like the sky is falling each & every day for over a year now. anybody panicking about this film like it's debuting this weekend is an absolute doofus who doesn't deserve engagement. let these clowns drown in anxiety & from egg yolk that will be on their faces like they have with the album, singles, & tour success. if they had all the best ideas...they'd have a job already.
