Blue Rose Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 the tour grossing $460M reminded me of a certain album that sold 460 copies in its first week 3
Shelter Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Her attendance is up this tour in the US. Tampa Formation tour - 41k Ren Tour - 55k

Kristie Kuwa Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Unpopular opinion: She should release the Cozy Tour Remix during Halloween as the final single. lately I've been dreaming of her doing an award show, opening the performance with the iconic "this a reminder" and then serving even more choreo during the House Mix part. Iconic, legendary me thinks. A perfect final single - modern, cool, funky, easy-digestible, relevant (LGBTQIA+ shoutout) and viral-factor.

PartyFavor Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Are people still talking about Echosville? I hope she does visuals + tour film together. Need at LEAST an album. The vocals and mixes are insane. 1

Asked why, the source could only speculate, saying, “I’m guessing the price and lack of replay value for the casual viewer” is why it hasn’t sold yet, though they also suggested the possibility that “maybe Beyoncé didn’t like how it turned out? I don’t know…” This was one of my theories. Glad it now has some tea behind it. 1

PartyFavor Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Doesn’t she owe Netflix more content? Why would she be shopping it around? 1

Red Velvet Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 I hope she goes with either Amazon or Netflix. The other streamers aren't it. 3
swissman Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Maybe it's the stan in me but I find it VERY hard to believe that unless the price was HUGE, the streamers would pass on it just because of "low replay value." 1

swissman Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 If it's true that no one bought it, I commend Beyoncé for holding out and not just giving in (releasing it some other way) or lowering her asking price. She knows her worth.
Shelter Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 The fact some seen it like 6 months ago she is just sitting on it can we do a gofundme 6
AxelFox Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Is this some legit info or just twitter nonsense as usual? She could literally sell it on her website and still make a profit, I don't see why selling it to a streaming service would be a problem

I mean if the price was HUGE but they're getting a ready-and-willing to promote Bey then it would be an instant take... It's the paying a HUGE price but then getting zero promotion from her besides an IG post then another IG post from her mom 10 months later accusing you of racism for "not promoting" combo that is probably turning people off. 1 1

Music videos aren't as big as they once were so it's absolutely true there would be concern about a whole feature length film's replay value. That said, it further points out in the article the strike is probably making studios hungry for content and a lot of execs will be at the LA show this weekend so that's optimistic.
