Which song on BEYONCÉ aged the worst?

I think this album is one of the least clockable in terms of how timeless the songs sound. So I still rate every song highly though it was released in 2013.

Personally,I think DRUNK IN LOVE aged the worst….even though I still love the song…it is a little dated in terms of production, sound, lyrics and flow.

Second in line would be Pretty Hurts :-*

ouuuu now I cannot support this.

for me, it's gotta be ***Flawless. it sounds the most dated to me, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie turning out to be a TERF and JK Rowling sympathizer does not help it.

So she brought THAT wig back for the RWT, I see...

I'm glad she brought it back while it was pouring rain, so it actually made sense to not have her signature RWT wig.

that's her natural hair texture and her real hair.

Plus the way it ends up taking TWO performance slots on her shows because of its disjointed nature

Like I love Flawless but I would kill to see how Bow Down would sound as a full song

The productions still cute for me but honestly I have been listening the remix more, Chimamanda talked waaaaay to much in the original for me 😂

I agree with your point though :-*

I can't say which ST song has aged the worst for me because it's one of the Hive's biggest fan faves and I don't want to make enemies, so I'll say next up are Flawless (I prefer the Nicki remix by light years) and Pretty Hurts which never fit on that album in the first place

Like I’m imagining going to club in 2014 and the song comes. Like you’re vibing then suddenly “Girls are taught to shrink themselves…” for thirty seconds :deadbanana4: or did djs automatically edit that part out

There is just always a song that doesn’t belong on the album…sonically speaking.

RTW on 4 :-*

PH on ST :-*

Sorry on Lemonade :-*

AUIYM on Renny :-*

I was in the club in 2014, they did not play it until the remix dropped. Drunk in Love was the club song of that era

The worst part of the mute **** is how it's all people wanna talk about online, obviously I want people to have their fun but I'm trying to find clips of the actual show and performances but I have to scroll through like 10 videos of that one part before finding anything else :skull:

***Flawless instrumental being my lineup song to my third prom. The nostalgia holds a soft spot + the remix is great.

yeah it was very disappointing. she has been going on anti-trans rants in interviews, public appearances and social media posts for about 5-6 years now.

this is from a few months ago:

Spoiler

In her Reith Lecture, she denounced self-censorship and recounted a conversation with an American at a book reading, with the American advising her that certain things should remain unsaid even if they're true. She did not reveal what comment spurred the conversation, so Guardianinterviewer Zoe Williams asked if it dealt with trans issues.

Ngozi Adichie did not answer directly, but remarking on the criticism of her generally, she said, "Now this whole trans thing, I did not know I was walking into anything. I thought I had said something self-evident. So I think I just experienced a sadness. I felt, 'I'm on your side. We're a tribe. Why am I a controversial figure?'"

"So somebody who looks like my brother -- he says, 'I'm a woman,' and walks into the women's bathroom, and a woman goes, 'You're not supposed to be here,' and she's transphobic?" she continued.

The brother in question is "tall, bearded and handsome," Williams wrote, adding, "I suggest that he would look different if he were living as a woman." Ngozi Adichie responded, "But that's the thing. You can look however you want now and say you're a woman."

Williams noted that trans people don't want to be judged or discriminated against based on their appearance and stage of transition, and she asked if Ngozi Adichie's brother were transitioning, wouldn't she think that "treating him with dignity and respect was more important than where he went to the toilet?"

"Why can't they be equal parts of the conversation?" Ngozi Adichie replied. When Williams suggested that dignity should take precedence, Ngozi Adichie said that amounted to ignoring women's views.

7/11 is the worst song in her discography and i'm surprised thats not more of a popular opinion.

its just nonsensical all around...lyrically, vocally...a waste of studio space. i wish it were deleted off the planet.

The way they down vote en mass is just so childish :skull:  There's a few of them that downvote every post they can, I know them by the avis but can't/don't care to remember the usernames

Like fave like stans I guess, a kindergarten **** show

It better not be anything from track 2 to 9 or if I catch you at another B concert...
