Now that we’ve established that Sorry aged the worst from Lemonade.

Which song from 4 has aged the worst?

Personally:giraffe: BEST THING I NEVER HAD….the production, the vocals ugh…this song is cute but it truly never belonged on the album. It and RTW always felt out of place sonically….:gaycat7:

Worst Sh*t I Ever Screamed just gives IASF leftover filler in the worst way, a stain on an otherwise immaculate album

I wish Bey did lightsticks. It looks so pretty in all those eras tour videos

I feel like it would take away from the light show she already has. I didn’t realize she had a lot of lighting effects on the audience until I saw some nosebleeds footage.

the lighting at 2:00 :jonnycat:

2 things:

I feel like that outfit she wore during Church Girl is like an homage to her Crazy in Love look. It literally looks like an updated version of it.

:jonny4:

The Cuff It outfit reminds me of also something she wore/would have worn in her early days.

:jonny6:

I saw some girls on Twitter say the cuff it outfit references the dress she wore when she performed with Usher back in the day.

If you’re GA, I would get there 5/6 to secure a pretty good spot close to the stage. You probably won’t be barricade but damn near it (in my experience at least). If you have a seat, I would get there probably at 8 if you don’t feel like waiting lol. I went to Jersey night two & Boston. She came on after 9:30 for the first one, & @ 9 for Boston.

I have a seat but I'll show up at least an hour early to like "feel the atmosphere", as corny as that sounds I want to people watch a bit before the concert and like soak it in lol. I don't want to do that for too long though. It's gonna take me at least 30 mins to get there so I'm probably gonna get there around 6:30/7.

Probably Start Over but that’s likely because it was a skip on arrival

Take that back!! I adored the loud vocals and also the production :gaycat7:Sumn about it reminds me of loudness of Hello from IASF and I just love it.

No I completely get it! The energy of other people’s excitement/anticipation definitely rubs off on you and gets you more hyped up. I hope you have a great time tonight! Soak it all in, she’s amazing

Ms. Stiff does light-up bracelets. They give every person in the audience one as they enter through the gates, and they let them keep it. (when I went to the Rep*tation Tour, she had buckets to collect and reuse/recycle them as we exited. when I went to her current tour, they didn't seem to have that option. #fucksustainability)

I believe she's using the same technology as Coldplay aka Bey's favorite white man Chris. based on the bracelet's location, it can light up in different colors. I was on the floor so got to see the different colors and patterns, it was a cute addition to the show that really plays into the parasocial aspect, making fans feel like they're part of the show.

yes, this is what I think too. especially for things like that Alien Superstar light show and the laser effect she has throughout the interludes. however, they can turn them on/off for certain parts, so she could have done it if she wanted to. it's just an additional cost for an already expensive ass show and a sizable increase in the show's carbon footprint, since the bracelets are rendered entirely useless once the show is over (unless they collect, clean and replace batteries to reuse them).

Not only is traffic bad, but the lines for food and drinks and merch are long as hell. So I say leave your house at 5

BTINH or Start Over aged the worst. The rest of the album is timeless fr. 4 as whole is a very good feel good R&B album.

Best Thing I Never Had is not a fave but it's ok enough. I'd say even Run the World aged worse than BTINH, actually :coffee:

Here’s the tea

Spoiler

I Miss You. Because it was actually a great song but now it’s a skip.
Start Over, I Was Here and Rather Die Young were always bad. So there’s no room to age badly

I Care was bad but her live performances brought live to it, so it’s been aging well :clap3:

The rest of the album is a discography highlight though :jonny4:

i care was never BAD bad it just sounds cheap production wise and lifeless, a garageband teas without the added electric guitars and big live drums

adding those huge dramatic drums to the intro and sprinkling the guitars throughout the verses is one of the best things she’s ever done :clap3:
