And this is not shade, I promise. We've seen it time and time again and Mathew has said she HATES public speaking.

Mitsouko Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I just randomly remembered that "I Was Told There'd Be Cake" was one of the rumored track titles and I'm laughing The **** people make up, I swear

SimpleKindofLife Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I hope she wins AOTY and doesn’t even show up that show doesn’t deserve her presence anymore
swissman Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 (edited) Ya one thing no one who brings up the "x amount of writers/producers" shade is LOGICALLY HOW then do you get albums that are so sonically cohesive while still sounding diverse. There has to be a common link and gee, what would that be again>? I mean just imagine really having 50 people make 12 songs and then putting them together and getting one of the most acclaimed albums of all time. If it were that easy, people would get one of the most acclaimed albums of all time all the time. And I think we've all worked in groups before for school, it's not easy to make something truly good unless there's someone willing to take charge and make sure it goes that way. I think it's time the Grammys recognize THAT. Edited January 6, 2023 by swissman

On the real though if The Weeknd can cancel the Grammy's then Beyoncé can as well, she's been around longer and has a higher profile in the industry.

Someone even made up lyrics
Bey Admired Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Unpopular opinion but Virgo’s Groove is in my bottom 3 It just doesn’t take me there like that but I can understand the appeal. It’s an objectively good song. I think my official top 5 are Alien Superstar, Cozy, Move, Break My Soul, and All Up In Your Mind (in that order).
MrPiggyMoka Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 To me the song that doesn't do it for me anymore is Alien Superstar... I lost the love for it completely Hopefully it comes back in the future, i really enjoyed it before, now it's just a SKIP
MrPiggyMoka Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 America has a problem grew on me like crazyyyyyy, it's the one song i'm looking forward to the most after Virgo's Groove
BGKC Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Idk what happened but I really don’t be touchin Thique anymore. Church Girl, I am so sorry.

SashaDevachelli Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I don’t hate Church Girl but I don’t go out of my way to play it. I refuse to listen to All Up in Your Anus however

Its such a pleasure to hear her 25+ years into her career still finding new ways to use her voice and pulling it off too. Her growls there >>>
swissman Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 The only song on Renaissance I dont' really "need" is ENERGY. I'm not mad when listening to it, but I've never (I don't think) purposefully went to go listen to it, and I think Beyoncé on some level feels the same way since its basically just a glorified interlude into BREAK MY SOUL. I enjoy its sonic continuity from The Gift, however. I like knowing that she's carried over learnings from past works, but then we have MOVE that does the same thing better.
