Remmy Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Artists~ wait Alok is kinda cute Astrid''s album... could've been kept. Zara Rina should be higher! || Singles~ Spotlight Touch and Go + Kelly mmm || Albums~ The Gift was good. A Very Trainor Christmas has some highlights but it's waaay too long and a bit too plain as well. Dagny being 1 spot higher than Liam how dare you......... Ready to see more
potent Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Spotlight is too low I had Alicia's album on my list to hear, but I'm afraid it won't be good Didn't even realize Paloma's album came out Better Than This is great though!
Ewan Chaos Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Oh the Aces album! Yeah it was cute, Kelly's a good pick. I actually really did not care for that Birthday song from Disclosure, I always assumed the Kelis track was the highlight for everyone.
mokitsu Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 listen to the full Disclosure album !!!! it's so good. tinashe's songs
BlackoutZone Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Oh wow Alice Chater living somewhere in these Best Ofs outside of my own But I agree that her output this year was disappointing
Mezik Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 'Good News' is a solid album, Megan really proved her hates wrong. Mess @ the fact I didn't know Dinah released a single.. I honestly forgot who she was for a second. Gonna have to check out her work. Happy to see Zara make your top artist.
TheWayWeWere Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Spotlight is a masterpiece should've been higher Natalie Don't is one of my favorite pop bops of the year
K$Ellie Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Kelly wasn't among my faves but the album was very cute kii Megan bombed deserved a bit but the album had some bops Dagny's album was nice too
Kevin2803 Posted December 6, 2020 Author Posted December 6, 2020 Top 50 Artists 40. Anitta (141 Plays) Anitta finally got more attention this year, mainly thanks to her collab with Cardi B and if she managed to make it into my top 40 with two singles, Tocame and Me Gusta, i am already excited to see how she will slay with a complete new album in 2021. 39. Kiiara (147 Plays) Kiiara's music can be pretty hit or miss for me. Last year, she managed to secure a spot in my singles top 100 with "Open My Mouth" and this year, she finally released her debut album "lil kiiwi", which is a pretty solid pop-dance record and spawned the top 30 single "Never Let You". 38. Britney Spears (151 Plays) My pop queen, the legend, the only and one - Britney Spears. She literally released no new music in 2020, but the re-release of "Mood Ring" on streaming services was enough to secure her a spot on this list. I hope that she will be finally free and happy in 2021 and maybe even release some new music, but on her own terms. 37. Becky Hill (152 Plays) It's quite unbelievable that Becky is around since 2014 and still isn't on the top of the game. She is so underrated. But, she finally gets more and more attention with every song and establishes herself as an artist. She had not one, but two smash hits this year with "Better Off Without You" and "Heaven On My Mind" and her collab with Meduza was also a big success. 36. Pia Mia (159 Plays) Pop singer Pia Mia isn't satisfied with just one career. In 2020, the "Do It Again" singer also had a box office success with a small role in the teen movie "After We Collided" and her OnlyFans account does also very well. But what matters on this countdown is her music and with "Princess" and especially "HOT", she released some of the biggest bops of her career. Top 100 Singles 90. Gabby Barrett – I Hope (solo or with Charlie Puth) [#36 | 13 Weeks] I do love me some country pop music and i already rooted for her back on "American Idol", so i am happy that one of the contestants of the new seasons has some success. I do like the solo version, but i have to admit that i think that the collab with Charlie Puth is a little bit stronger, atleast for me. 89. Zara Larsson & Sabrina Carpenter – WOW (Remix) [#3 | 9 Weeks] Another song that was released in 2019, but only found some success in 2020 with a new version, that includes Sabrina Carpenter. While i do think that the song also works solo, i love this version more and think that their voices compliment each other very well. 88. Sofia Carson & R3HAB – I Luv U (#14 | 12 Weeks) Sofia and R3HAB seem to love working together and i am here for it, because they always create some bops. "I Luv U" will probably not be remembered in music history, but it's cute and catchy. 87. Foxes – Love Not Loving You (#5 | 12 Weeks) Foxes finally made her comeback this year and i am gonna be honest, the first single needed to grow on me, but when it did, i couldn't get it out of my head. Same goes for "Friends in the Corner". For some reason, i wasn't a fan of every second single she released this year. "Woman" and "Hollywood" are kinda meh. 86. Britney Spears – Mood Ring (#2 | 11 Weeks) I was so happy and excited when "Mood Ring" was released on streaming services this year and the GP finally got blessed with pop perfection. One of the best songs on "Glory" and it still sounds fresh, even four years after the album release. Top 100 Albums 90. Alina Baraz – It Was Divine (#7 | 1 Week) I actually only listened to this album, because i always look for new and underrated female artists to stan and i actually really quite liked the album. The sensual r&b style and her voice match very well. 89. Justin Bieber – Changes (#3 | 1 Week) I am not a Justin hater, but that album was not it and definitely didn't deserve to be nominated for a Grammy over The Weeknd. 88. Adam Lambert – VELVET (#8 | 1 Week) I am always here for some bops from Adam and "Velvet" definitely had some good songs, but i didn't come close to his previous three albums. 87. Kelsea Ballerini – kelsea (#7 | 2 Weeks) I always only like a few songs from Kelsea and not the whole project, so it's probably no surprise that she isn't higher on this list. "the other girl" and "hole in the bottle" are bops tho and i have yet to listen to "ballerini". 86. K/DA – ALL OUT – EP (- | -) To be honest, i only recently understood the concept of this girlgroup and always thought it was four random singers, who had features with Madison Beer and other artists. After "More" was released, i googled them and found out that Madison is actually a real member of this group (atleast for most songs) and now i kinda stan them.
