Kevin2803 Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 K.D.S. Crownnote 2018 Countdown While my first and official countdown is based on my plays overall, the Crownnote countdown is based on chart points the songs get. So, for this list it didn't matter how often i listened to a song, it was important how high the song charted on my weekly countdown. There are a few big differences to my first countdown. First of all, the order is totally different and the second difference is that recent number #1 hits, like "Love Made Me Do It" by Cheryl, "Hurts Like Hell" by Madison Beer or "thank u, next" by Ariana Grande made the top 20, while they didn't even made it into the top 100 on the other countdown. Kevin2803 Posted January 1, 2019 Author Posted January 1, 2019 TV Shows 50. Famous in Love I won't miss the cancelled teen drama very much. Even tho i enjoyed the second season a little more than the first one, it was still not good enough to get me really hooked on the show. The best parts about this season was Cassie's horror movie storyline, Paige's stalker and Danielle Campbell who really outshined the rest of the cast. I like Bella Thorne, but she just isn't that good as an actress. But i will miss seeing Charlie DePew. He is a cutie. And it sucks that it ended on a cliffhanger, but i won't be losing sleep over not knowing what happened to Tangey & Co. 49. Shades of Blue Another show that i won't miss very much. I'm not that into cop shows anyway and just started it because of Jennifer Lopez, but i have to say that the season 2 cliffhanger was very intriguing. But by the time season 3 started, i already didn't care that much anymore, because they wouldn't have killed off the two lead characters anyway. The ending was kinda fitting for Harley, even tho the other ones also deserved to go to jail, especially Wozniak. Season 3 had some strong moments, but overall, it's not a very gripping show for me. 48. Homecoming "Homecoming" is a very weird show and probably not for everyone. I liked it, especially the acting and they way it was shot, but it had many boring moments. It's cute for a sunday binge watch tho and it's gets more interesting when Heidi gets closer to the truth. I probably wouldn't miss the show, but i am still curious to see in, what direction they are going with season 2. 47. Black Lightning The CW show had a strong first season, but it started to bore me with the second one. First of all, it was a mistake to kill off Syonide and i also wanted to see more of Kara. The first half of the season just wasn't that interesting, i even sometimes waited for days until i watched the new episode, but atleast the Perdi's and their leader show potential for good storys. We'll see where this storyline goes. For now, the best part about this show is Jennifer and her growing powers and i also like her relationship with Khalil. 46. Station 19 I didn't expect another "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off to do well, but it actually gets decent ratings, so we'll see how long the show will last. It has interesting cases of the week, just like the original show, but the biggest problems are the characters. Some of them are not that likeable or interesting enough to really care about them. Maybe the will grow on me. We have to wait and see, but for now it's still weaker than the original show and the first spin-off "Private Practice". 45. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt I binge watched the whole show this year and immediately fell in love with the characters and found the show incredible funny and charming, but for this ranking, only the fourth season counts and sadly, it's probably the worst season yet. From that awkward sexual harrassment storyline to the documentary about the Reverend, which was a complete waste of an episode, the season just didn't had much memorable moments. It even was kinda stupid sometimes without being funny. Well, let's hope the show will atleast be wrapped up nicely this year. 44. Nashville It always sucks when a long-running show you like ends, but in this case i think it was time. The sixth season was just full of stupid storylines. From Scarlett helping that farm boy to Juliette randomly joining a cult, you just had to roll your eyes sometimes. The fact that Juliette was missing half of the season also wasn't helpful. The whole love triangle between Avery, Alannah and Gunnar was also pointless. But atleast we got closure and even saw Rayna for a last time. 43. Cloak & Dagger I like superhero shows and i love Olivia Holt, who slayed my music charts this year, so i gave this show a try and it's really nice. The two lead characters have good chemistry and i like that they are not potrayed as perfect role models, especially Tandy. The show also doesn't shy away from darker topics which surprised me, because it's on Freeform. My favorite episode is "Lotus Eaters" which shows Tandy and Tyrone trapped in a time loop. The finale was also nice. Tandy saying that she's scared of her good dreams, because when she wakes up she has the same ****ty life is probably one of the most relatable things i've heard this year. And i especially want to know what happens to O'Reilly who seems to be not entirely human anymore. The show is only so low, because i'm not so invested in it like i am in other shows on this list. 42. Wolf Creek Technically, the second season of this horror show was released in December 2017, but it almost took a year until i finally watched it. I was never a big fan of the first movie, but i liked everything that came after that, including the tv show. Mick is just a very strong horror villain. The second season was a cute horror binge watch, even tho some horror characters acted very stupid, but let's ignore that. It had nice kills, a few likeable characters and was entertaining throughout the whole six episodes. But it also was very predictable sometimes. 41. Atypical This is a cute heartwarming show with a great cast. I think the hate that Elsa gets is a little undeserving. She is better than Casey or Doug, who both annoyed me a little with their actions this season. My favorite this season is definitely Paige. The way she defended Sam in the finale was so cute that i almost cried. Maddox Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 Every characher on Kimmy is so obnoxious, i couldn't stand watching any of them hence why i quit during S3. I agree with Homecoming. it's a good show, very fast to binge but the investigation took way too much time and was kinda the weakest part of the show. Atypical is solid comfort TV, i love it and you're right about the Elsa treatment... It's a little too much. Perched for the rest!

Kevin2803 Posted January 2, 2019 Author Posted January 2, 2019 (edited) TV Shows 40. Santa Clarita Diet I like that show, but i feel it's missing some big comedy moments, like the ones where you can't breathe because of laughter. It is still very amusing and entertaining and has a great cast. 39. Sense8 This would probably be higher, if they would've aired a whole instead of a final movie, but it almost kinda felt like a mini season. And i liked how they wrapped up the show. "Sense8" was never my favorite show, especially the beginning was very slow and sometimes boring, but it was just such a unique show with some very special characters. 38. Grace & Frankie Another netflix show i binge-watched this year and i really liked it, especially the characters. But for this list, i only count the fourth season and it was one of the weaker ones, which is basically the fault of the children. The way they treated Grace & Frankie was so annoying and even made me mad sometimes. It also gets tiring how the two gay husbands have a fight in almost every episode. But Grace and Frankie are still great and funny characters and i also enjoyed seeing Lisa Kudrow in a comedy show again. 37. Shadowhunters The show needed some time to grow, especially because the acting isn't that good at times, but in season 3 i felt like the show finally found its identity. It's a shame that they now decided to cancel it, but atleast we get another twelve episodes. The cliffhanger of season 3A was one of my favorite ones this tv season and i'm excited to see more of Clary, Jonathan and Lilith in hell. 36. Supernatural This show is obviously a cult classic, but they episodes are very hit or miss in the last few years. There are episodes i barely pay attention to, because it's so boring and then there are episodes that make me feel invested in this show again. Season 14 had some very strong moments so far and episodes 4 to 6 were a real 1-2-3 punch. The monster of the week episodes are still the best. I also really started to like Jack this season. 35. 13 Reasons Why The first season was so good and one of the best new tv shows last year, but the second season was a total letdown. I especially hated how they gave Clay a completely stupid storyline, only so the had a reason to have Hannah on the show for another season. I like her, but it just felt forced. The finale was also anticlimatic. It's not like i wanted people to die, but the way they solved the possible school shooting was a huge disappointment. 34. The Sinner This was another one of the best new shows last year and the second season was also interesting, but the mystery was not as thrilling compared to the first season. I still enjoyed the season tho and the acting was great. Especially the scene in the finale between Vera and Julian was brilliant. You could really feel their pain and desperation. One of my favorite tv scenes of the year. 33. Charmed This reboot got a lot of hate before it even aired, but what can i say? It definitely deserved some of it. The pilot was a disaster, the acting isn't that good and it's just all over the place. The sisters barely have any chemistry and it feels like they try to throw eight seasons of storylines into one. I still like to watch it as a guilty pleasure and i see some potential, especially after the midseason finale. I kinda hope they will explore Macy's dark side a little more, because i actually enjoyed it to see her evil in the last episode, even tho it wasn't really her. 32. The Good Place I still love this show, but the third season was a little lame sometimes. I feel like the storyline is running in circles sometimes, just with a few changes every here and then. But it's still very entertaining and Janet slayed this season. Her episode was a masterpiece and i am excited to finally see the real good place. 31. Riverdale The show was always a (fun) mess, but especially this season is all over the place. Like, i have no idea what the **** is going on anymore and they all act so stupid most of the time. There is also not enough Cheryl in this season. Betty really is the only saving grace of this show. But even when the show is full of crazy and stupid storylines, i still don't want to miss an episode. Remmy Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 I barely watch TV so unless Big Brother is here, I don't really have much to say Though if I had to choose one of these shows to start, it'd probably be The Good Place.
Maddox Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 I think i dropped/never seen most of this set except for TGP which like you said kinda sucked. Janet and Tahani are entertaining but the rest needs some more work...
Mr. Loco Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 13 Reasons why S2 was a complete letdown, it was depressing and not in the good way tbh On the other hand, I loved the ending of Sense8. I'll miss that show.
