potent Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Growing Pains is okay, Sucker Punch on the other hand is a slay one of my favorite songs at the moment
Remmy Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Albums: Red Pill Blues is slightly ugly, and easily their weakest album, but it's still not too bad. BLUE LIPS We love her! Ten Years EP The deluxe version wasn't really necessary but at least we got With You, which grew on me a biT, and the excellent Good Love.
Bxtch Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Paris, Rumors and I Don't Exist really hoping for Sofia's debut album in 2019
Blue Rose Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 MOTW the Bright soundtrack is indeed excellent (the movie kinda suck so you aren’t missing anything) and one of its song is coincidentally charting on my list today.
Kevin2803 Posted December 17, 2018 Author Posted December 17, 2018 (edited) Here we go again ... Albums 70. MØ - Forever Neverland Peak: #5 Weeks: 4 MØ finally released her highly anticipated second album and the danish singer didn't disappoint. The album has some cute bops, like "Imaginary Friend" or "If It's Over" with Charli XCX and "I Want You" is easily one of her best songs yet, in my opinion. 69. Alessia Cara - The Pains of Growing Peak: - Weeks: - The second album by Alessia Cara didn't debut on my weekly countdown until December 2018, but still managed to chart on the 2018 Countdown. Someone on ATRL said that this is the perfect album if you're close to a mental breakdown and i agree. Alessia's lyrics are so real and honest. She truly is one of the best songwriters at the moment. Maybe, the album is missing chart-friendly hits, like "Here", but it gets better and better with every listen. 68. Sean Paul - Mad Love: The Prequel Peak: #3 Weeks: 5 Sean Paul proved that he can make some bops on his own, like "Temperature", but it's his collaborations that make his music really interesting. The album probably wouldn't be her if it wouldn't include some major bops with pop girls like Ellie Goulding, Becky G or Dua Lipa. 67. The Chainsmokers - Sick Boy...This Feeling - EP Peak: #11 Weeks: 5 I didn't like the first version of the EP and thought their songs were getting worse and worse, but they saved themselves with adding "Side Effects" and "This Feeling". Maybe, we will see them again on next year's countdown after they released their new album last friday...which basically only includes the EP and two new songs. 66. Alexandra Stan - Mami Peak: #5 Weeks: 5 This album is kind of a letdown if you compare it to her previous albums, but the title track is amazing. "Rablaton" and "Noi Doi" are also kinda cute. Singles 70. Halsey - Without Me Peak: #8 Weeks: 7 This mid-tempo break-up song about Halsey's toxic relationship with a guy (I'm looking at you, G-Eazy) is still blowing up on the charts worldwide and i can totally see why. Halsey's voice, mixed with some atmospheric synths, makes "Without Me" a really good song. 69. Ne-Yo, Bebe Rexha & Stefflon Don - Push Back Peak: #2 Weeks: 7 Barely anyone knows that Ne-Yo is still making music and he still managed to get Bebe, the Queen of features, on his lead-single for his latest album. It's also the only good song on that album and he can thank Bebe for that, because her part slays. 68. Dynoro & Gigi D'Agostino - In My Mind Peak: #5 Weeks: 8 This is the biggest hit of 2018 here in Germany and usually, i don't like our taste in music, but i love this song. It's just a really good dance track and it includes the hookline of Gigi's "L'amour Toujours", which also makes it kinda nostalgic. 67. Ciara - Dose Peak: #6 Weeks: 8 After the first listen, i thought this song was extremely generic. And well, it kinda is, but it's also extremely catchy and Ciara slayed that Choreo, as usual. 66. NOTD & Bea Miller - I Wanna Know Peak: #8 Weeks: 10 NOTD could become some of my favorites producers in the music scene, because every song they released so far is really good. "I Wanna Know" also features Bea Miller, who i never expected to become a big thing in pop music, but with that song and her latest album she proved that she's really talented. ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 17, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 17, 2018 loved forever neverland hmnnm didn't like pains of growing much Singles wise, without me is cute
Remmy Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Albums: Can't complain about this placement for Alessia But wØw MØ is tØØ lØw, gØrl!
Mr. Loco Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Didn't know The chainsmokers already released the full album I really loved most of the singles Halsey's Without me didn't get to chart high this year in mine, but it's coming for wigs next year's

Kevin2803 Posted December 18, 2018 Author Posted December 18, 2018 (edited) Another day, another countdown ... Albums 65. Glasperlenspiel - Licht & Schatten Peak: #2 Weeks: 5 I'm not always a fan of german music, but this duo always delivers some great music. Their latest album also has a few bops, but wasn't so good like the previous ones tho. I especially didn't like that Daniel had so much parts, because Carolin sounds so much better than him. 64. Kiana Ledé - Selfless - EP Peak: #6 Weeks: 3 I didn't care much for the EP at first, but i fell in love with "Fairplay" and the the EP also has some other good songs, like "Ex" or "Get in the Way". 63. Matoma - One in a Million Peak: #5 Weeks: 4 "Sunday Morning", "False Alarm" or "Lonely" are just a few bops from this album. DJ Matoma really delivered with his second album. 62. Jonas Blue - Blue Peak: #3 Weeks: 3 Another DJ who released an album this year is Jonas Blue and it was about time, because he already released a ton of smash hits. He is one of my favorite DJs at the moment, especially because he gave Lennon Stella a little bit of exposure to the GP with their UK hit "Polaroid". 61. Charli XCX - Pop 2 Peak: #3 Weeks: 5 Almost everyone who likes Charli agrees that "Number One Angel" was much better, but "Pop 2" is still a really strong mixtape. "Out of My Head" is my favorite track from this project. Singles 65. NOTD & Tove Styrke - Been There Done That Peak: #8 Weeks: 8 Another song by NOTD made this countdown and this one is even better. I wouldn't call myself a fan of Tove Styrke, but she sounds so good on this song and the production is perfect. 64. Nicki Minaj & Ariana Grande - Bed Peak: #3 Weeks: 6 This wasn't a good year for Nicki's career, but the reason for it is not necessarily her music, because this sensual collaboration with Ariana Grande is a lot of things, but definitely not bad. 63. Madison Beer - Home With You Peak: #24 Weeks: 4 I really started to stan Madison this year. She matured so much and with her did her music. She released one of the best EPs of the year, which includes this Rihanna-esque single. It didn't chart high on my weekly countdown, but only because i already had it on repeat long before it was released as an single. 62. Anne-Marie - 2002 Peak: #20 Weeks: 9 Before Charli released "1999", Anne-Marie put out this throwback track which became a big hit for her. It isn't my favorite track from her debut album, but it's definitely catchy. I got sick of it kinda fast, but then she released the more urban remix, with Saweetie & Ms Banks, which was even better and it almost repeaked again on the weekly countdown. 61. Nina Nesbitt - Loyal To Me Peak: #2 Weeks: 6 After releasing the excellent "Chewing Gum" in 2016, Nina Nesbitt returned with this pop perfection which kinda reminds me of early 2000 pop tracks and i'm loving it. I'm very excited for her new album. REPLIES On 12/17/2018 at 8:35 PM, prézli said: AMAZING SET Dose, Mami, Mad Love The Prequel Wtf. It's her best album. Remmy Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Bed is decent. Ariana's weakest 2018 single but possibly one of Nicki's bests. Pop 2 is good She needed to grow on me, and I still don't like 3 tracks tbh. "Almost everyone who likes Charli agrees that "Number One Angel" was much better," wait delete this the indie gorls are gonna get mad at you ATRL prefers Pop 2 but I definitely love N1A more
