First reaction post incoming!! Before starting the album, I put my headphones on to get the radical experience. Once I pressed play, my room became the dance floor!! End of an Era was an interesting way to start the album. It definitely got you ready to groove and ease your way into the album. When I made my way to These Walls-French Exit, I felt like I was on vacation in Barcelona, and I was with friends and dancing with strangers at an outdoors party. I love that vibe it gave me. I love love LOVE the summer feel this album has. When listening to in headphones, I can hear the hidden moments in the production that I probably wouldn't had heard on speakers on first listen. I just finished the album and I like how she ended with Happy For You. Love the message of being happy for an ex partner. The ending of Happy For You was beautiful with the birds chirping as you hear the outdoors. It felt….peaceful and grounding. 10/10 album!!! Dua was NOT playing. I enjoyed the music and the feeling while listening. This album is on my list with Eternal Sunshine and Undressed At the Symphony.

it's a shame that visuals are a dying medium because we know she likely spends A LOT on them (compared to the average star) and I remember an article which stated that streaming services are unsure about picking them up since the visuals are allegedly weird and streaming services are struggling right now. I wouldn't be surprised if she decided not to release them if she couldn't make a decent financial return on them. I'm hoping this isn't the case im also wondering if it's a full blown movie movie with dialogue and stuff - not just a visual and that's why it's taking so long????? But yea I ultimately agree unless these visuals really shake the table and revive interest in music videos in general it won't make noise outside the super online Beyhive. I'm praying she goes back to regular MVs once the trilogy is done I'm just so over it all lol The fact that Nadia Lee cohen is a director is super intriguing to me and I'm really curious how CC ties in with renaissance because I've literally not come across any theories that tie the two except for the whole "reclaiming" genres thing (which Beyoncé never actually stated - this was a narrative pushed by the hive). If the visuals for each album are completely separate and unrelated from each other then it would make no sense for Beyoncé to withhold renaissance's which makes me think it'll all be connected (which unfortunately means more waiting for us)

It's the opposite. GH are good for this age...not because people outside of stans will buy hardcopies but because if the songs are streaming individually to albums that are not charting then consolidating them will change things. I.e. Pitbull, Nicki Minaj or even people with solid catalogs like the Weeknd/Post Malone who cannibalized parent album sales to use a GH to get another platinum album. In Britney's case, the GH could chart after rCA upgrades her teen pop albums, GH, FF, Glory, and maybe ITZ once more. Afterwards, all units count towards GH Vol 3 and it could give her another platinum album if RCA includes unreleased songs and the singles from yesterday do well enough to make the album eventually go platinum

It's okay, I like both of them and actually see the difference.. Gaga is more artistic and bolder, but that's what also makes her not as much of a commercial force - that's why she underperformed so early in her career. Her forte is arts and people recognized that for her when she started experimenting further on, which is the important part. Britney is more of a commercial artist and she is more adaptable to what might sell musically. However, she hasn't had a team that could help her do that, and has been sabotaged on multiple occasions. That is not an excuse, but a minus (if u stop looking at it from a defensive-stan pov). Her life, unfortunately, hasn't let her truly blossom into what she could become. But ofc I'm not gonna sit here and underrate her success like half of you do.

She deserves both. I understand that streaming is the way and that pure sales are useless outside of first two or three weeks but I was simply making a point that credits should be there too.
