God WHY wasn't this the og rare album cover??? It's so pretty the picsart one is ugly as ****. The speed at which I changed it on my Apple Music back in 2020 anyways Selena having the best first week of her career based on pretty much nothing but pure fan love is insane. No hits no label support no clout- selenators really showed up and hopefully proved to the label that the demand is still there. They probably (as did many here) thought her music career was all but over. hopefully now with Benny restoring her confidence and creativity, this means more quality music is on the horizon

Yeah it definitely was but I think this entire rollout is pretty much being handled in house (primarily by Benny) and considering it's still better than some of the **** promo interscope has given Selena, I'm giving them a bit of grace I'm just hoping they weren't entirely using the "seven heavens" theory for clout and actually do have something more substantial coming.

You may not want the vevo performances but the fans who bought them might and that's okay. Dont buy them. we know she has more coming (she and Benny teased more collabs) so I don't see the point in getting upset about it. I also would rather her have released something from the vault but who's to say she's not saving those tracks for something bigger? We still don't have the deluxe

No one's forcing these fans to buy anything though, everyone involved is aware it's just to push sales. the content is secondary- even for most of these fans who just want to help her chart. Swifties were buying voice memos and artists release live versions of songs all the time I don't think it's that serious. The VEVO videos are coming most likely next week

I actually think the lo fi vibe gives it a cozy, warm, intimate feeling that bigger production wouldn't. I was lukewarm on sunset blvd's production as a single but in the context of the entire album it fits perfectly.
