  1. The way you put it was misleading. It's still a case of calories in, calories out even with these conditions. No condition makes the body need more or less calories for the same functions. The problem is that some health problems reduce the functions of the body - e.g. making people tired so they can't move as much - which means fewer calories are needed day to day. So someone with one of these conditions (untreated) needs fewer calories than someone of the same height, weight and muscle mass without, because they are expending less energy. Calories in, calories out.
  2. This isn't quite correct. Movement will burn the same amount of calories (proportional to weight and muscle mass) no matter what illness or condition a person has. The illness/condition may restrict movement in which case it could be linked to weight gain which is a fair point. But there's no such thing as the body not being able to 'regulate itself'. Movement will always burn calories. For an adult to gain weight at 1500 calories a day they'd have to be extremely petite and bed-bound as it takes 1200-1800 just for organs to function.
  3. What song/line were people saying would 'end gaylors' or 'trigger gaylors' or something?
  4. In the era of streaming you only need to make inoffensive background music to have a huge hit.
  5. ONLY real ones know this is the correct answer. Nothing compares to this song and how they performed it. It was a peak all round in 2010-2011 too: Shinee - Lucifer T-ara - Roly Poly B2st - Fiction IU - You and I Etc.. The golden age of kpop started 2008-2009 with Gee, Genie, Sorry Sorry, Ring Ding Dong etc. But peaked 2010-2011.
  6. All I ask is for Siobhan to get some stylist budget because Keisha and Mutya out here killing it
  7. Lilo and Stitch is really cute but it's not a fairytale so they weren't subverting anything
  8. So you were there?
  9. Reading comprehension: worms.
  10. It's not #believeallwomen it's just #believewomen (or it was originally) and it just means don't dismiss women out of hand.
  11. Can't remember the last time a victim of domestic violence wrote about raping their partner, admitted to head butting them on tape and promised to 'globally humiliate' them but there's a first time for everything I suppose...
  12. I still don't get how the jury found in both their favour? Can anyone explain? Is it a case of worms?
  13. The jury filled out the paperwork wrong TWICE. Gives you an idea of how many braincells they put into this deliberation.
