ATRL Ballots

Welcome to the inaugural 2021 ATRL Members' Poll! This is a new event that we, the staff at ATRL, expect to conduct at this time every year moving forward. So what exactly is it? It's a quick, simple poll where members vote in various categories (one entry per category), as a way to do a year-end review of music, TV, and pop culture in general. At the end of the polling period, the staff will count each vote, and the summation of those votes will be the final result of the poll. We will post the results after counting each vote. It should be an easy alternative for some members who would like to take part in Best Of events, but don't have the time to create elaborate and detailed Best Of threads. It should also just be a fun event for the entire forum to take part in; consider this as a large-scale rate of the year. So, here are all 28 of this year's categories: Music TV/Film Various Quick Q&A How do we get our ballots? Please PM @ATRL Ballots asking for a ballot, and the ballot link should be sent to you. It doesn't have to be formally written; you can just say "hi" and a ballot will be sent. Do we have to vote in every category? No. Only vote in the categories you want to. What is the eligibility frame for music, TV, and films? The eligibility frame is from January 1 to December 31, 2021. We decided this in order to accommodate for any late surprises that one may want to vote for. So when does the voting end? It closes at 12am GMT on December 31, 2021. You may send in your ballots before then, of course, but you may also edit your ballots. Strategic voting? It's not like we can do anything about it. Go for it. Joke ballots? If you submit a ballot with something like "Not ___" in every "Best" category (i.e. deliberate and obvious trolling), your entire ballot will be deleted and you'll be told to do a new ballot. We are manually counting these ballots for the most part; we do not want to sift through joke votes before actually getting to count honest votes. Hotel? Trivago.
