Hot 100: #1 Trollz
I can't believe their scammery worked Kind of iconic tbh Nicki getting TWO #1s this year is not something I expected. 2020 is truly a mess.

HDD: Lil Baby 4x #1, Bob #2, Lady Gaga #6 33k, John #17 26k
Great for Dylan. He could've retired decades ago but this is a man who simply loves music and poetry and still has something to say. Solid for Teyana, especially considering she doesn't have a hit, but the album/era seems a bit direction-less. Calling it 'The Album' feels too pretentious and meta for someone who hasn't really established a defined artistic persona. The Grace Jones tribute cover is great but it doesn't tell me who she is as an artist either, being a tribute. And all the A list guests don't help either, they seem out of proportion with how well-known/successful she is so far (not very). Compared to other female R&B debuts of late like Ella Mai, SZA, Kehlani and Summer Walker, she kind of lacks her own strong identity. But she has a STUNNING look and I do think she has a lot of potential. This is a solid debut that shows there is interest in her. BEP's album is aimed at the Latin market.....but the bad news is that the Latin market in America is much bigger than 10-15k SPS. Shouldn't have ditched Fergie.

POP EMERGENCY! Spotify may stop showing Streams on the App
Yeah but then that means they have no way of knowing if the artist is popular or not and they won't get more popular. You do want to get positively judged for having more streams.
-
POP EMERGENCY! Spotify may stop showing Streams on the App
This is a huge mistake because it means indie artists now will have a much harder time showing they're popular and getting recognized. Having a breakout song that visibly has 1m+ streams can help them land opportunities since they exist outside of the major label system.

H100: Savage #1, Rockstar #4
Amazing to see two female rappers get their first #1s back to back and amazing for Beyoncé, I feel like this remix feels much more “hers” than they mi gente and perfect remixes, it feels like a Beyoncé hit because her remix is easily the definitive version of “Savage”.

Rain On Me: 6.4M update on Spotify for Day 4
Off to a great start. The album coming in less than five days will give it another boost. We're looking at two weeks minimum flying high globally. Considering it's a GREAT song, I think that will be enough to give it momentum for the whole summer.
-
Rain On Me: 6.4M update on Spotify for Day 4
Gaga has written a multi-Platinum Top 10 hit BY HERSELF. She doesn't need to prove her ability to write a hit.

HDD: Adele's 25 11.5M SPS, Cardi 3.3M, Dua 418K
Cheek to Cheek WAS a huge success, 750k pure sales for a jazz/swing album is unheard of in the last decade

HDD: Adele's 25 11.5M SPS, Cardi 3.3M, Dua 418K
I'm sorry, no shade but this part of the article is ridiculous. Her last two projects, Everything is Love and The Gift, flopped. The world certainly did not "kiss her ring" with those. I expect objective entertainment journalism from HDD, not stan-esque value statements.

HDD: NAV #1 127k, Kehlani #2 82k, Bad Bunny #9 40k
Solid for Kehlani. I will forever be pissed that they never released "Keep On" from her last album as a single though. That song was a Top 5 Hot 100 smash waiting to happen, it could've changed her career. Like imagine if Doja never released "Say So".
