Happy Ending has been hitting hard lately. AND I TRIED TO BE YOUR HEEERRROOOO (AND I TRIED TO BE HEEERRRRROOOO) I LENT YOU MY VOOOIIICCCCEEE (I LENT YOU MY VOOOIIICCCCEEE) I WAS YOUR POSTER CHILD IT WAS WORKING FOR AWHILE BUT IT DIDNT FILL THE VOOOOIIIIDDDD I truly can't get over this part it hit me straight in the heart. As someone who looked up to Demi sooo much as a kid this part had me messed up the first time I heard it. I hope she'll get her happy ending and doesn't feel as much pressure to be perfect for everyone....

Yooo so I'm currently listening to the Call Her Daddy podcast and Alex asked if she ever sat down and talked to Selena, Miley, the Jo Bros about the challenges of being on Disney, and Demi said she had a project in the works where she wants to talk to them and other child stars about their experiences!!!!!

Yesss!! They would kill a collab! I would love for Demi to do a song like Experiment On Me! I think she'd kill it!

Yess!! I was so surprised how indie ALOT of songs sounded on that album. Butterfly, Carefully, TWYDLAM, California Sober... She honestly could have made an amazing indie record on those songs alone! I'm hoping for the next album she can find a balance of softer songs and the style she has now cause it would be perfect!!

I gotta hop on and say all of y'all are 1000% right. I had a mini rant earlier about this, people act like she's trying to be something she isn't when in reality she was always into rock/r&b music. I honestly felt like DWTDTAOSO had a lot of songs that reminded me alot of HWGA. She has every right to try out different sounds but she sounds most at home with rock music in my opinion.

Finding out Demi listens to Knocked Loose has made my day! Queen of taste!

Can I just say that reading the charts thread has irritated the hell out of me. People acting like she's being edgy and just putting on a persona or her inspirations arent genuine, when in reality she's loved the same music I do since she was 13. Demi has always loved metal/rock music and It's annoying when artists such as her and Halsey embrace the music they grew up loving be criticized to death because they wanted to do pop music too. Let artists embrace different sides of themselves without being considered fake challenge. Not to mention you can tell when someone's not being genuine with the music they make and I can tell this is the most authentic they've been in a LONG time!! PS. Sorry for the rant and I hope this makes sense! As a rock music lover and a long time Demi fan, I hate people acting like she hasnt been into this music since forever! I love them for embracing a sound that makes them happy and that they actually enjoy performing!!

Oh this album is phenomenal!! I've wanted this for years and I really hope she stays in this lane for future albums!! I can tell she's way happier doing this again and it just SCREAMS the Demi I fell in love with years ago!

That bridge tho!!! Ugh Im so excited for the rest of the album....also for all my fellow rock listeners, Demi having Turnstile and Teenage Wrist on her 'Death to my pop music' playlist.... I trust the rest of the album is gonna deliver!!
