IOP ties Pink Friday
this is why:

IOP ties Pink Friday
those songs have maybe a little bit of pop built into the hook that's like the exact opposite of Pink Friday which had maybe a little bit of rap built into the otherwise poppy songs. I mean, Cardi is working with Migos and J. White while Nicki was working with Dr. Luke and Ester Dean

Fergie's "The Duchess" album was as "rap" as Pink Friday was

erm VS

IOP ties Pink Friday
Pink Friday was hardly hip hop...especially based on the singles that were released and Nicki's...image at the time. Cardi is the first truly unapologetically mainstream hip hop female to come out in a long time (sorry Iggy and Nicki)

Billboard: Scorpion 1st album logs 1billion weekly streams
Literally every drake song sounds like one of three drake songs.
-
Scorpion: 170 million streams in Apple Music in 24 hours
streams are more impressive than album sales imo. an album that's being listened to for weeks and weeks if not months and years by the masses (and still earning $$$ for the artist) is a lot more impressive than a huge sale # because an artist has a massive fan base and then a plummet to never be heard of again after 3 months.

Billboard: EIL does not count for BeyZ
Do DC isn't Bey either. got it.

Hot 100: SAD! #1; I Like It #2; APESHIT #13
Everyone making excuses for Beyonce and how it's not on Spotify free etc are forgetting that every single Apple Music listener + Tidal listener got a notification the very second it was released that "Bey and Jay dropped a new album! Listen to it now!" like it was some earth shattering Trump news. I've never gotten a notification about an album being released ever. And it still does these piss poor numbers
