Who cares if the numbers are good or not. My God. The BIGGER picture is Cardi needs to succeed for the future of female rap the same way Nicki needed to succeed. It was “great Nicki can do great but can other female rappers?” then we got Cardi .... yall need to realize this this is a great moment for the genre and will continue to help let more girls in as they become more mainstream. I will be happy when these these girls get categories again at award shows. This is what Nicki worked for ... ”I’m fighting for the girls that never thought they could win” y’all need to “ease up” (a Nicki classic) and let the girl prosper. EVERYONE
