MJD is very conservative in his estimates so it may have but I like that he keeps it down to known figures.

Demi's just got a very weird career. She's almost sold more albums in Brazil than she has in the whole of Europe :skull:

She did sell more albums in Brazil than in Europe

Anyway, they're publishing a series of articles explaining and updating Britney's album sales, country by country :duca:

Part 1: U.S., Canada and Latin America: http://chartmasters.org/2017/05/bonus-gift-truths-about-britney-spears-album-sales/

Part 2: Asia: http://chartmasters.org/2017/05/bonus-gift-the-truth-about-britney-spears-album-sales-part-2/

More to come!

He keeps posting "BOTM" which is actually kinda cute :lmao:

It's so interesting to see his estimates. The way the Britney album moved under 200k on Oricon yet is actually around 500k is crazy

Britney is her best selling studio album in Japan, as well as her best selling album in South Korea and Thailand. I love when Asia stans for talent.

Considering she outsold all of her peers there, they only ever seem to stan for talent :fan:

He has regular polls to vote for the next act and you can always leave a comment on any of the articles - he reads and replies to them all!

OT: New Britney article preceding her overall update:

Britney's new update. Even she dropped by 1M (96,942,000 before) and she didn't get much from streaming to begin with. Drake, Bieber, Rihanna, Beyonce and The Weeknd are in trouble :jonny:

Because he's got a decade on her.

YouTube Daily Views:

Britney - 1,851,134*

George - 656,031

Wham! - 265,831

Keep in mind Britney's also getting 145,613 from Scream & Shout and has other features. She'll easily pass him (and Wham) soon, especially since she's still releasing.

No, because her biggest markets crumbled very quickly and she won't rack up catalog sales in them. If Southeast Asia had sustained their market past the early 2000s, she would have easily outsold him.

I'm surprised Britney has not outsold George considering she was one of the biggest album sellers of her generation.

I'm not surprised George out sold her in the Europeans considering he was very huge there throughout the 90's and 00's.

Nice Work:clap3:  @Eternium

Well, to be fair, Wham! released their first album when Britney was a 2 year old child. And half of Britney's discography was released during the digital era.

I don't do anything with this site, sis. MJDangerous runs it and I just post it here for discussion. Feel free to comment on his site and thank him!

And yeah, most of the '00s acts failed to outsell the 80s acts because of the huge change in the market. 80s acts also had incredible catalog sales because the mediums for music consumption changed so often (8-track, cassette, CD, vinyl, digital, etc.).

Now this is interesting to know,

Because there is one artist I really wanna know his sales to see if he outsold George...

Even with N*SYNC included he's sold fewer albums than Britney.
