• Element – 10 – This song is PERFECT for this round, and I almost used it as the example! She references the obstacles that she has overcome, beautifully illustrates her new beginning, and it is wrapped in a production that makes you visualize rising up from the ashes.
• rl231– 10 – This was almost the example for the round lmao.
• Dylan – 9 – This song clearly tackles the concept of declaring a new era and moving on from a tough one. The last verse really seals the deal in making this a strong entry. Lyrics aside, it’s not thee most empowering track we have here but it’s one of the best lyrically for sure. Rise up, Lotus!
• T–Swizz – 9.5 – One of the more obvious choices, but contrary to what Citrus would have you believe, that's not necessarily a bad thing! The song tackles the theme head–on and hits all the marks, the only issue I had was that it was rather simplistic/basic and lacked depth. But you're definitely on the right track. Good Job Lucky!

• Element – 9 – This is a really strong entry! It illustrates rising up in the face of adversity. My only complaint is that it seems to be a more general “I am strong/victorious” instead of specifically referencing a new beginning in her life.
• rl231 – 8.5 – Definitely, almost there! It just needed more of a tie in to the future, but good job!
• Dylan – 6 – This song contains the revival element but it’s rather miniscule. Yes, she’s rising but that’s pretty much where it stops. It somewhat mentions the people who brought her down but not specifically enough for me to fully agree on this entry. Lyrically, very so–so. I think the sonic nature of the song is where you were strongest this round. Not a horrible entry but there were better options out there.
• T-Swizz – 8.5 – Although this is similar to skyscraper in many ways, Katy seemed to be more concerned with survival than proving others wrong. Rise's theme has the connotation that no matter what troubles or tribulations she may have had to endure, she is now ready tackle all obstacles head on despite the odds stacked against her. Embracing a new era in her life.

• Element  – 2.5 – I don’t really see this song and the theme working together very well, except for the twist at the end where she says she has made those changes and is the person she wants to be. But unfortunately, it just seems like a general assessment of her hopes and dreams.

• Dylan – 1.5 – I’m not getting this one... at all. The song itself is cute but I don’t see any place where it’s about reviving yourself from a hard time in life. There’s no declaration of freedom or independence and I’m sad to give you a score like this.
• T-Swizz – 7 – Love the song but it's essentially one profound epiphany. It seems rather common that everyone's ideals and expectations change over time so I'm not too sure if I'd categorize this as a revival or a simply acknowledgement of maturity and growth.

• Element – 7.5 – The lyrics were really building up in the verses. I thought she was going to establish the concept of reawakening very well, but then the chorus just kind of became about how others adore her, rather than how she has felt revitalization in her spirit.
• rl231 – 6 – Similar to Alive (without the trauma and more about a relationship), so you get a similar score.
• Dylan – 7.5 – I think you understood the basis of this round. She’s moved on from someone that hurt her and now she’s optimistic about her future. Pretty good start for you.
• T-Swizz– 8 – Good entry. Displays theme well but not as well as others.
